Clean rooms, very friendly staff and very well placed for the Arena. The only thing I would have liked is real ale in the bar, even in bottles. But I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again if in Cardiff.

The hotel is centrally located and close to all amenities. The staff are helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure guests have a lovely experience however the hotel is in a dire condition. It needs some serious refurbishment. My room was in a bad condition. If they are going to charge people such a high rate, they need to make sure the hotel is in good condition and cleaned.

Lovely hotel.
Had a lovely night. Room was big and clean. Staff were excellent and bar prices were sensible. We will definitely be staying again.

The staff were super friendly, check in was easy and quick, they stored our luggage until time for check in. Very comfortable bed, quiet and perfect temperature through the night. Would definitely revisit and recommend to friends.

Great overnight stay
Great overnight stay thats close the centre. We were on the 4th floor and couldn't hear much road noise. They gave us a king sized bed which was unexpected and had the best sleep!

Staff very friendly. Foyer and reception look great however the condition of the rest of the hotel needs modernization. The room had no air con but did have a table top fan. However, this could not be placed on the desk as the position of the plugs so close to the top of the desk made this impossible. Couldn't leave the window open as the traffic noise was too loud even on the 5th floor. The shower had very little water pressure.

Hotel condition is a little tired and lacks preventative maintenance (one lift not working for duration of stay). The basement car park is overpriced, the meter wasn't working and there was no signage advising that payment could be made at reception when checking in. Staff were friendly and efficient on the whole but bar staff diverted away from bar to cope with large parties in the restaurant. There is no air con in the room which was incredibly stuffy and hot even with window open and counter top fan working. Traffic / pedestrian noise was loud with window open. Good city centre location.

Avoid ! We left after 20 minutes of being there , very dirty and broken furniture.strong smell of old cigarette smoke in the room , and this was a ‘premium room’.

Good location. Foyer and restaurant area very nice but the rooms are tired. I booked a superior room and it was anything but! Needs an update. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
