Really enjoyed our stay and would definately stay again, close to the hustle and bustle of the center but far enough away so it’s not a distraction, plenty of food options around and a lovely big park opposite for a walk around by the castle. Nice breakfast in the morning and comfy room. Recommend and would stay again.

The hotel is in a very good location close to the city centre no problem at all getting from place to place. A lot of restaurants available. Hotel provide standard breakfast nothing special but dinner was surprisingly good especially the foods they do for children. Hotel overall was ok it is a bit aged the room, quite easy to see from the wall, the carpet, the mould in the bathroom. Because of that it makes you feel the place isn’t very clean.

The bathroom had seen better days and the bath had an area where water stains were visible from where a shower must have leaking for some time. The pillow and bed clothes has an old sweaty smell to them. On checking out I wasn’t given a final bill as the computer system was down. A shame a location good and staff friendly.

The rooms were really comfortables. The bathroom was perfect. It has a lot of options to dinner. The breakfast is amazing. You have many options to eat according to people’s references.

My one place to stay
Amazing stay every time I stay for a night or two in Cardiff this hotel is my preferd place to stay.The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard also the staff are very friendly throughout the hotel.

Property is maintained well. The city slightly farther from the hotel is not the best, and has the same issues as any other city. Panhandling, drunk folks etc.

Great location near 5o the castle literally stone throws away to the center, plenty of places to eat. Reception was great helpful and professional.

This was a perfect spot to explore Cardiff great car park ( you have to pay for separately but great ) needs a kick of paint but spotlessly clean and great staff. We will definitely be back

Holiday Inn Cardiff
Comfortable and clean. Food good and staff pleasant and helpful. Bedroom adequate, but bathroom very small and the shower was difficult to set to a sensible heat and power.

OK, but small room at premium rate
All good, location, car park, facilities, breakfast. Room was a bit cramped, particularly bathroom. Wanted to stay an extra night but was quoted over £200 so went to the Travelodge at Llanedeyrn which was a much bigger room for less than half the cost

Located in centre of Cardiff opposite Sophia Gardens. Beautiful location near restaurants and town centre. Car parking on site. My main criticism was concerning the beds, they were very uncomfortable which made sleeping very difficult.

2 Night stay in Cardiff
Carpet looked a bit stained and bathroom in need of updating and need to get rid of the shower curtain, but, other than that, the room, bedding and towels were all clean. We had a lovely view of the park across the road and the reception staff were all very friendly and helpful
