The house is converted from an old winery building and has the charm of old stone and wood pleasingly combined with contemporary features. Muryel and Serge are warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and Muryel provided gluten free bread for our son who has celiac disease.

The Domaine de Marseillens Bed and Breakfast is a good choice if you have been searching for Carcassonne accommodation in …More
Very convenient to the old city. I am amazed at how they have taken a series of old buildings in Carcassonne and turned them into an upscale hotel. You have to climb a series of stairs to move from one building to another but this is more than made up for by the location. It is five minutes from the gate to the city. Very convenient. We stayed two nights and it worked very well as a base to explore Carcassonne.
We arrived and the owner improves our reservation allowing stays on bigger room. I was surprised because the size of the room (huge) not easy to find it in Europe, the rooms have very unique furniture and decoration. The next morning we have an excellent breakfast. The hotels have a nice grounds with many trees good to relaxing
They have a restaurant beside of the hotel( not owned by the hotel) with good food and menu
In general I describe the hotel a good place to stay and feel relaxing away of the city with unique decoration and location
We booked this as a last minute holiday following the reviews and weren't disappointed. The chateau itself is centrally located for sight seeing, however you will need a car and sat nav. The accommodation was excellent and clean, with a well stocked kitchen and the added bonus of a dishwasher. It was excellent value for money as we got an off season deal. The chateau wasn't that busy, which suited us well as we wanted to chill, however would probably avoid in the height of the holiday season as imagine it could be very noisy.
New apartment hotel, about 2km form the railway station out of town but an easy walk without bags. Aircon brilliant, beds comfortable, apartments well equipped with most kitchen stuff you'll need, shutters very effective. Bakery at end of car park. Reception staff speak excellent English and very helpful with taxi bookings etc. Remember it is an apartment hotel so you're room isn't serviced every day.
