“Great family location next to the Cite”

This is a great hotel if you want a mini apartment (2 rooms with kitchen) as close as possible to the Cite of Carcassone.

“minutes from the castle”

This place is so close to the walled old city, one can go uphill any time during the day or night. The apartment is big and it has a living room with a kitchenette and a seperated bedroom. There is no room cleaning service, but you can get clean towels in the front desk. The beds are really small and not comfortable.

“Old City nightstop”

A basic modern apartment hotel quietly situated within easy walking distance of the tourist area, La Cite. The modest cost of rooms and its location make it a good choice for a one or two night stay. There is open and covered parking (charge for latter). Reception staff were efficient but took a minimalist line. They did not for example think to tell us of the easily missed pedestrian alley (Rue des Ramparts) which leads from almost opposite the hotel direct to the Tour de la Vade gate into the city. The kitchen in our appartment was poorly maintained: the sink was blocked; the microwave broken etc. Other facilities were of an acceptable standard. Overall, we would recommend this as a 'budget' hotel.

“Great people”

This was a very nice place to stay and the folks running it were terrific. If you stay here I recommend the restaurant down the hill, Il Ponte Vecchio. They provided a fabulous meal and went way over the top to take care of us. The location of this hotel is great; only a very short walk from the castle. Highly recommended.

“Comfortable and efficient”

This is a new type of hotel, like a residence with minimal interaction with staff. Rooms are large and clean and confortable, just what one needs. Plenty of parking. Interesting court yard that is quiet. Breakfast is basic. The walls cannot be seen from here, although they are very close. A quick walk up to an entrance to the city. Make sure you get the code to get back in at night! Good value for money.

“Superb Location”

The hotel did everything we wanted from a budget hotel. The location was excellent within a 10 minute walk of La Cite and the Canal du Midi. The buffet breakfast was good, with a varying variety, just right to set us up for the day's exertions and all the hotel staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly.

“Good location, clean hotel”

We stayed for four nights in a 1 bedroom apartment and the standards were excellent. The rooms were bright and clean, fresh towels and linen, with air conditioning as standard. Location was a little far from the drop off point of the shuttle bus and a bit confusing when asking directions as there are front and rear entrances. Location is excellent for the Old City, just five minutes away but quite a long walk into Carcassonne itself.
