“Good for overnight stay”

Bed was not as good as home but the rest of the hotel was fine. SUper fast check-in, good breakfast, clean room. The price is right.

“OK location but could have been better”

I have stayed at this hotel before and probably will again, but there are some things that need improvement. FIrst of all.... it reeked of tobacco smoke, even though there was a No Smoking sign on the front door. When we asked the desk clerk about it she said. "Oh yeah an guy just left here smoking in the hallway... Oh well". Then later in my stay, I had forgotten a razor, went to the front desk to see if I could buy one from them. "There might be one in the vending machine... was my answer. Well, I checked out the vending machine, all slots were full and no razors. My asthma was acting up so I turned on my shower to get a little steam to help keep me from coughing. I did not turn on the exhaust fan... after just a few minutes, my smoke alarm went off. I immediately turned on the exhaust fan, and fanned the al arm with a magazine. The alarm quit after a couple of minutes. I was so embarrassed. Then a little surprised that no one came to check. No one called.

the staff was courteous and helpful, the place was clean. very satisfied. would stop again

“Adequate for one night stay”

I stayed at the Marion Super 8 because of its convienance to Carbondale and the price. It has the very basics, but nothing beyond that. The hallways smelled like smoke and there seemed to be people hanging out around entrances late at night. If you're looking for a quick stop over, this would be a good place for it.

“/Really great”

We stayed here because nothing else was available. We have never stayed at a Super 8 before because we thought it was crummy. This hotel was great. We got there a little before check in and they had our room ready. The room was perfectly clean and the bed ws very comfortable. Brakfast was fine, too. The desk staff was very nice. Plus, it was quiet!! Lovedd it!!!.

“no frills but clean”

we picked this one because we just needed a place to sleep and the reviews said it was clean. costs slightly more than other no frills options in Marion,but worth the few extra dollars. ROOM WAS SPOTLESS AND WELL MAINTAINED.breakfast fare was usual, just fine. Folks behind the desk were very nice.

“No frills, No Elevator”

The room was spotless, with a microwave and fridge in the room, not bad for a basic, no frills hotel. Nice that the windows opened, too. But there was no elevator and if you stayed on the floors above the lobby you had to haul your luggage up by yourself. For this reason, I won't be booking this hotel again.

“Great Value”

The staff is very courteous and friendly. On our trips to North Carolina we stay both going and returning. The location is perfect and very quiet considering it is so near the highway. My only recommendation is to add more to the breakfast as it is "very" limited.

“Comfortable & Economic”

The hotel was clean with comfortable beds and furnishings. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was plentiful and complete with a waffle maker. The hotel is next to a McDonalds, close to several other restaraunts.
