“Helpful staff with convenient shuttle service”

We had an enjoyable stay at the weber. It is located by relaxing marina piccola. Although you are not able to walk to Capri town, there is convenient shuttle service available until 2am. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

“Shawna”

The hotel was located far away from the city center. The hotel charged forever All and any additional amenity. Our room was not clean and the towels were old. The rooms had a musky smell.

“Spectacular Service”

After a difficult day traveling with two children, we were received warmly by the receptionist, Joseph at Weber Ambassador. The two cribs which we requested three weeks before, had been waiting for us in our large room overlooking probably the greatest view we had ever seen. Everything was very convenient at the hotel- from the non stop dining services- to the frequent car services back and forth from the city center. The hotel is clean and the staff are really friendly. Thank you Weber Ambassador for creating such a lovely experience for our family vacation!

Area recommendations
The area around the hotel is probably the greatest, because of its proximity to the beach.

“Nice hotel”

Hotel was very nice, our room was very small though... but I think we had one of the smaller rooms at the hotel. Free shuttle service to capri center.

“Best in Capri”

This hotel is fabulous. There is a shuttle that picks you up at the dock and takes you back and forth all day and evening to the major squares. The concerige and desk staff could not be more courteous or accommodating to your every need, Giuseppe and Antonio were marvelous, going out of their way to provide satisfaction. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Area recommendations
Marina Picolo is the quiet side of Capri. There are restaurants and an excellent beach. Hotel Weber provides a shuttle, but there are also public service buses that come just to the entrance of the hotel.

“Breath-taking views”

This is a great hotel - Make sure before you get there you call the hotel and ask them to pick you up, they will do it for a small fee, much cheaper than taxis or the bus. Since the hotel is located on the other side of the island, they have a free shuttle service to and from the city of Capri that runs every 10 minutes from 8am-2am. We used this many many times during the day. Not everyone speaks English, so just be patient. I speak very little Italian but they were very accomodating. I love the 2 pools and the hot tub (out of commission for my stay) is HUGE. Marina Piccola (where the hotel is located) is less busy with people, so this makes a nice calm retreat, but with the free shuttle you can get into the mix of all the people in a matter of minutes.

Getting there
There are ferries from Naples - budget for 1 hour for port to port. Call ahead and have the hotel pick you up, for a small fee (but cheaper than the alternatives...and walking to the hotel is not a good option - you'll understand when you get there) Leaving Capri to Naples - the first ferry is at 6:50am - so plan ahead for flights/trains (I BARELY made my 8:50am flight (got there at 830) and that is with a stunt car driver getting us there in a taxi)
Dining
The best food - a true Italian experience! "Michel'angelo" Via Sella Orta, 10, 80073 Capri, Island of Capri, Italy +39 081 8377220 After 15 days touring Italy - we decided that this was the best meal we had. Menu in full Italian - not much English spoken, but it will give you the true Italian experience! The service was awesome and the Chef was friendly as well! A must go!

“Great place”

Expedia confirmation did not state that the hotel provided transportation from the ferry for 4 euro and free transportation to and from town--I paid 20 euro for a taxi and 6 euro for a bus ticket.

“A little piece of heaven”

We loved our 3-night stay at the Hotel Ambassador Weber! We had a beatiful view of the marina from our personal patio and just found ourselves a little piece of heaven. The courtesy shuttle to and from the town of Capri was a great convenience. The staff was professional and courteous. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

“Way overpriced and lazy service”

Our arrival with drinks and nibbles was about the best part of our experience at the Weber. The hot water runs out, when you request help from the staff they take their time and when guests are at reception making complaints (we noticed quite a few on our stay) they shrug their shoulders, roll their eyes and laugh - it's quite rude. It happened to us. When our luggage was taken up to our room they only brought one bag up and forgot about the other two, even though it was the same person who unloaded them from the van when we arrived. We wanted to use the room safe which was left locked by the previous guest and we asked for it to be opened so we could put our passports and valuables away. It took over 2 days and 4 requests (each time they would make a 'note') and it was very frustrating. On the upside the buffet breakfast was lovely, the staff and food at the restaurant was very good, although very expensive. Oh and you're not allowed to have an iron if you want to sort out your clothes - you are required to pay for a service for them to do it for you, which really didn't suit us. If you want a light snack (a beer, cheese, tomato and bread for two) you're up for about $50 Australian. There is a shuttle service that is very good when you want to get around to the main centre and it runs late, which is very helpful. It was a lovely hotel, the location is great but the lack of attention to basic things by the staff did not contribute to a pleasant stay. Would not do it again.

“Great View!”

The hotel has a great view and a good shuttle service for the marina and the center of Capri. The room was good but the lights of the bathroom weren't working properly. The breakfast is good as well. But they could make some improvements because the hotel is old and they need to change the elevators.
