“Wish we'd been able to stay longer - but shame about the breakfast”

We had a superior room 'with sea view' for 1 night. The sea view was more a glimpse, but the room was very nice, and comfortable. The hotel is a lovely building. A bit of a challenge to find - but I'm sure everywhere in Anacapri probably is! The breakfast was the disappointment - when things ran out, they ran out - not really acceptable at these prices.

“stay away from a hidious dirt hole”

the experience was terrible. the room was in terrible conditions, the pillows broken, you could see their pieces, the bathroom impossible dirty. the worst part was that in the entrance to the room they have the sewer box, and we could smell the hidious odors coming out from the box. we tried to change the room, but by then they claimed there was nothing else available.

“helpful staff, wonderful stay”

this was a great hotel and the staff was extremely helpful in catering to our wishes. they allowed for a room switch free of charge. would suggest this hotel to everyone. thanks.

“Very nice place to saty”

A bit of exercise to get to/from but the hotel is under new managment and working very hard to make it even better. Our last stay included cheese and ham at breakfast, because of renovations, there was not room to present this and yet the second morning we had our own supply of cheese and ham for the week. Only one small problem, we left a bag of souveniers in the room, called the desk while on the way back to Naples only to be told there was nothing they could do to help us get the bag mailed, etc. We worked something out with friends still on the island but something the management might want to consider, I'm sure we were not the first to do something like that. Without a doubt -- would stay with them again.

“Beautiful Hotel, Great location, Very nice and Helpful Hotel Stuff”

I think this was the best hotels in my trip to Italy. The island of Capri is very small, so getting around is not a problem, but the hotel is located in a very nice area, away from all the noise, pack light because getting to the hotel is a little hike if you are carrying luggage, but if you are you looking forward to a nice and relaxing trip, this place will do just fine. I booked the room with sea view but since I also got the master room (I would call it a suite), I was on the main floor and some of the trees were blocking the sea view, nonetheless, the Hotel and its staff is very nice and I recommend it. The room was amazing, very spacious, except the shower that was a bit small for me but just fine for my wife. The hotel is located in Anacapri that is mainly residential but it has a nice plaza with many hotels nearby or stores to go shopping or to look for a restaurant. If you want to go to the main tourist area of the island (Capri), you can take the bus for almost 2 euros or a taxi for 20. I liked taking the bus instead and I was there within 10 minutes. Overall, I recommend it!

“Loved the Casa Caprile”

The hotel is nothing special, but is friendly and clean. We had a large room with A/C. I would suggest requesting A/C as it gets pretty warm. The breakfeast is standard Italian fare. The only real downside to the hotel is the amount of stairs to go up and down when you leave - but you are very close to the center of Anacapri and some great walks. However, it was worth the excercise as this hotel is the BEST deal in Anacapri. I would love to go back some day.

“Happy in Anacapri”

This was a fabulous. The Superior Ocean View room came with a large balcony on with glass-door entrance on two sides of the room. Breakfast was good, and sufficient in quantity. Management went out of their way to be helpful. I look forward to returning.

Hotel is located down a STEEP side street lots of stairs to negotiate. Very clean basic facility excellent location near bus stop restaurants shopping.

“Good but could be alot better”

Hotel casa caprile is in the area of Caprile on beyond Anacapri so do not get out in Anacapri main square. The hotel is down several flights of steps but the hotel will help with bags. It is in a lovely position but only the rooms on the first floor facing the sea have really good sea views. It has lovely garden but lacks any sort of garden furniture or facilities to use the garden.It is clean and the brekfast is OK. The reception are very helpful.
