"Pleasant stay, but don't expect helpful navigation"
My wife and I spent nearly a week here. By bus, it's ~90 minutes from Naha Airport. Check-in took maybe a minute. Our rooms were immaculate save for some mildew on the shower curtain and blinds in the bathroom. Breakfast was standard fare: eggs, bacon, miso soup, rice, salad bar, etc. One night, we had dinner, which was mostly izakaya-type food. Nothing was noteworthy save for the taco set. We were in the elevator when the staff was delivering steaks to the rooftop. They looked and smelled excellent, so we should have ordered that instead. Main praise: One of the staff members, a short woman, aided us greatly in coordinating daily activities, calling local resorts to book snorkeling. She was professional and caring. Main complaints: 1. Nobody knew accurate pricing. During a pre-arrival call, I inquired about transportation to the hotel & rates. The actual cost for a monorail and bus was a quarter of what I was told. A cab to local resort Moon Beach with no traffic cost more than double their quote. 2. The older man at the front desk was insultingly useless when I asked how to get to Churaumi Aquarium. Twice. I told him we didn't have a rental car or bicycle. He showed me the route on a map and told me to run, swim, or hitchhike. He made no attempt to find a bus route. When I walked away the second time, he said, "No more English" and started speaking Spanish and French (I had used limited Japanese & English). Good rooms. Not ideal location. Staff is hit or miss.

"Old, but well maintained with wonderful beach"
It looks like a hotel from 70s built for American customers. There's obviously some conflicts of cultures, like giant rooms with 2 toilets, but the bathroom is made of typical Japanese plastic components... covered by tiles like in Europe or US. And there were no big rooms with breakfast and double bed. It is normal to use separate beds in Japan, maybe, but it was strange and inconvenient for me. The beach is small, but beautiful. Unlike most beaches of silicon dioxide sand, this one is of ground coral (calcium). It is so different of anything I experienced before. The water is clean like a teardrop and plays with beautiful colors in the morning and during the sunset. The leisure facilities, however, are bad maintained. I mean rigorous, but inadequate management. Birds are singing everywhere, a lot of flowerpots. But when you go to the hotel beach you have to pay twenty usd for the hotel own sunbeds. It's kind of.. not fair. And you have to go "somewhere" to use your card. Water sports are organized wonderful, but that's all. No one plays volleyball. No bar at the beach (there is a bar house occupied by beach watchers for some reason). Ping-pong and billiard are moved somewhere to the back, almost under the rain - it is obvious no one would play them that way. I would expect a beer bar with billiard, but no. There are at least 3 restaurants (all are buffet breakfast type), but a bit overpriced with only two similar menus by odd and even dates. The bar is good, with music
