“Vineyard - not to be missed. fabulous”
The vineyard hotel - what can I say? relaxing, friendly, clean, attentive staff, great food, fantastic wine (south african of course), very child friendly - our six year old was treated so well, need I go on? What a great pre-christmas break. We will be back. Loved it.
“Delightful stay”
Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff at this hotel. We were made to feel like film stars particularly with the use of the hotel's own mercedes taxis to ferry us about. Would definately stay there again
“My favourite place to relax”
I have stayed at this hotel many times and always find the service, comfort and restaurants of the highest quality.
“Outstanding hotel”
Outstanding hotel. The facilities and service are top-quality, the breakfast must be amongst the best in the world, the swimming pool is fantastic and has plenty of recliners, and the setting is beautiful. The rooms facing the mountain are best, but simply sitting on the verandah having breakfast or tea is simply stunning. It's near shops and great restaurants, and has its own great facilities.
“The place to stay in Cape Town”
This is gorgeous hotel located on the side of Table Mountain. The service, food, room were all first class. We loved the breakfast. The hotel is also very kid-friendly and my 3 year old loved the pool and watching the tortoises roam the garden area of the hotel.
“Business or Leisure - it's a winner”
We've stayed at The Vineyard for more than 10 years now and it continues to improve. From a free welcoming lemon drink to a free cup of coffee sitting in the reception area if you are waiting for someone early in the morning everything has been thought through. Breakfast are a high spot but the three eating areas offer excellent food too. Myoga has been a welcome addition but booking is recommended. To sit on the terrace or down by the pool on a warm summers evening definitely suits us and from the warm conversation suits others too. Great location for golfers as Royal Cape, Rondebosch, Mowbray, Westlake, Clovelly are all nearby (Steenberg is hard to get on but nearby too).
“christmas at the vineyard”
our third visit for two weeks over christmas, the vineyard is unique in its location and its level of professionalism and service
“Fabulous old fashioned hotel.”
Fabulous location in an upscale neighborhood, so walking in the area is safe. View from the garden and pool of Table Mountain are breath-taking. The hotel feels old fashioned, but with very good service. Only down sides are lack of evening entertainment, it is very quiet, even in the bar. Also the air conditionng in the rooms could be improved.
“The Vineyard Hotel - Perfect!”
The staff, public rooms, bedrooms, gardens and general ambience of this hotel are all superb. I would recommend to anyone. If you want to see the sights of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula you couldn't get a better situated hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to any of the wonderful sights of the Cape, this hotel is ideal for anyone. We will be returning - and this was our third visit.
“A must stay.”
Enjoyed our stay so much at this wonderful hotel. that we have decided that on our return to Cape Town, we have booked in for several more nights before returning home... and can,t wait!!
