“Right on the Waterfront”
The V&A was veru convenient for the shops and restaurants on the waterfront. The staff were very pleasant, very informative and we had a lovely stay. We would definitely go back there again
“Staying at the Waterfront at the Victoria and Alfred Hotel”
Great staff, slept like a baby and you are right where all the action is at night in Cape Town. Loved it!
“Best on the Waterfront”
Absolutely loved it! Can't wait to go back there!
“Highly recommended”
We've just returned from a wonderful break made all the better by the choice of hotel. Situated in the heart of the Waterfront, the Victoria and Alfred was a short distance to the excellent restaurants, shopping and ongoing activities/entertainment. The hotel staff were very friendly and to have breakfast or an afternoon drink outside with Table Mountain as the backdrop is very hard to beat. The travel desk were extremely helpful in arranging tours and restaurant bookings with helpful advice to Cape Town first time holiday makers. We'd certainly recommend the hotel to anyone planning a break or holiday in Cape Town
“Excelllent”
Great postion, fantastic rooms, continental breakfast was great. Eating breakfast outside with a view of Table Mountain is unforgettable. Easy to book cars, tours etc from the tourism desk. Situated in an extremely safe area and just yards from nice bars and restaurants. Robben Island ferry 100 yards away, hop on/off bus for city tour 2 minutes away.
“Cape Town Nov 2011”
Best hotel location ever. Great restaurants, shopping, entertainment etc within walking distance.
“Victory and Allegiance at Victoria and Alfred”
Beautiful setting and location, historic building, great comfort and service. I found this place searching around on the web, and picked it as part of a Flight + Hotel package on Expedia. I was not disappointed. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. They even helped me track down the luggage that didn't make it with me to Cape Town. The breakfast, which was included, was outstanding and the restaurant had tables out on the boardwalk overlooking the waterfront.
“Excellent Hotel”
We stayed in Cape Town for business and this was an amazing hotel. Located right on the water, walking distance to everything. Nice rooms, good food, great location, what more could you ask for.
“Will definitely return”
We couldn't have been more happy with the V&A Hotel in CapeTown. Our room was large and very comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient position for tourists. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely book there again if we return to Cape Town.
“Fantastic little jewel with ideal location”
This hotel served us the best breakfast that I have seen in any hotel in the world - champagne, oysters, choice of 8 different fruit juices, 10 different styles of yogurt, wide variety of fresh fruit and pasteries. Excellent room service, clean, friendly front desk, and great off-season rates. Location simply could not be better.
