“Sweet Ocean View is great”

We were booked for Sweet Orange but because they were re-doing the floors there, they upgraded us to their Sweet Ocean View property -- where Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman stayed when filming Invictus. The hotel is lovely and minutes from the ocean and public swimming pool. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

Area recommendations
Sea Point is near the ocean and have lovely views. Lots of restaurants choices. We enjoyed the Atlantic Express restaurant in a restored locomotive.
Must see
The Cape Town soccer stadium is a must-see and is adjacent to a nicely appointed MacDonalds.
Family-friendly activities
The swimming/diving pool is located right on the beach - beautiful setting.

“impressive boutique lodge”

“Friendly, relaxed & comfortable.”

The Sweet Orange Guest House is a small, well maintained and friendly place to stay in Cape Town. Not far by car to all major attractions and located within walking distance of some very good restaurants. The rooms were very spacious and beautifully clean. The idea of all guests sitting together at the kitchen table for breakfast was a novel idea and a good way to chat to other travellers from all over the world. Our welcome as we checked in was extremely detailed and very helpful.

Drive to the top of Signal Hill for excellent views of Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles.

“Very Nice Bed and Breakfast Style Hotel in Cape Town”

Great location and a beautiful house inside and out. They served a nice breakfast and had a very friendly, helpful staff.

“immer wieder”

Das ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp und sollte gar nicht weiter empfohlen werden.Hier trifft man ein internationales Publikum in allen Altersklassen.Man wird hervorragend betreut und bekommt gute Tipps.Vor allem das Frühstück war hervorragend.Ich würde immer wieder dort buchen.

Das Hotel ist sowohl für Backpacker als auch für Autoreisende optimal gelegen (nahe Einkaufsstraße,in ruhiger Seitenstraße).

“Een ongelooflijke prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.”

De kamers zijn ontzettend mooi met een moderne goede badkamer en in de slaapkamer een flatscreen TV en zeer comfertabele bedden. Het een kleine residentie en daarom ontzettend gezellig. Het is voorzien van draadloos internet, zwembad en een gezamelijke keuken waar 's ochtends voor iedereen wordt gekookt door host. Ik kan het echt aan iedereen aanraden.
