“Very small bed”

You cant sleep there, I went with my wife and the DoubleBed was 1.40 Metre wide. Very small beds in double rooms!!!

As other reviews have pointed out, the location is hard to find. My driver had difficulty finding the place and he had lived in Cape Town all his life. The hotel was very stylish and clean. Rooms are very small and TV is abnormally petite for the rooms. Bathroom was very clean. Continental breakfast was better than most in the States. View from room wasn't exciting as it faced the backside of the hotel, no big deal. Very happy with price, location was great as well, walking distance from V&A Waterfront, train stations, Cape Town Castle etc. I'd stay here again without a second thought.

The hotel is centrally located and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and noticed that they changed the sheets and even duvet cover everyday. :) We forgot our passports and some USD$ in the hotel safe for over 24 hours after checking out which was a major boo boo.. We thought all was lost. This was not so. The assistant manager was extremely professional. He recovered our passports and all our cash from the safe and an additional item we forgot. I applaud the professionalism and honesty of the management.

“Well located for tourism or work..”

A completely renovated hotel with great rooms and a good location for seeing some historical sights in Cape Town. Being in the heart of the CBD, it could get quiet and security could be an issue at night, as with most South African cities downtown apparently, but there were many retaurants and interesting places to go nearby in the busy hours. Secure parking is provided in a basement, via a curious route, but was well managed by the staff. My only concern was the room was not cleaned after the first night, and it took repeated calls to get this remedied by evening. Otherwise a good stay in a nice hotel.

incredible and large corner room with wonderful contemporary furnishings. Very tasteful decor. Huge surprise in terms of quality, including breakfast. Very very helpful front desk, especially Desiree whom made many of our tour arrangements, etc.
