“Exceptional Hotel”

The Bay Hotel is in an ideal postion with the beautiful beach on one side and Table Mountain on the other. Also wonderful place to view the fantastic sunsets. There are good places to eat close by and a bus stop across the road. Easy access into Cape Town by bus or taxi. The hotel is very well maintained inside and out. The rooms are extreamly comfortable, spotlessly clean with lovely decor. They are spacious with excellent facilities. Brilliant breakfasts that keep you going all day and very good meals in the resturaunt. Best of all are the staff. They were all so helful, polite and friendly but not intrusive. Overall the hotel is very effiecently run but with a very relaxed atmosphere. Would not want to stay anywhere else and cannot wait to go back. Wonderful first time in Cape Town and at the Bay.

“The Bay was ok”

Good hotel for the party types but if you want a quiet area do not stay here. The rooms were very confortable in a modern flair. The service was very good and the food was fine. If you need a car do not use the hotel car service. It is three times as much as a cab and it was never on time. I had to wait 45 minutes past my pick u time on several occations.

“Stunning”

staff welcoming and so helpful, especially as we were 2 ladies travelling without our husbands.We asked for a sea view room- and got a bonus with a room that looked over the sea and mountain. Ideal location with easy access to V&A and few bars/resteraunts near by.Details stated there is a courtesy bus to V&A this is no longer in opperation but didnt spoil our trip at all. Cant wait to go again with our men folk- it was truely a wonderful experience.

“Best holiday so far!”

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel at the end of November. We had stayed for 5 nights before flying off on Safari and then returning for another 3 nights before reluctantly flying back to the UK. I have stayed at some pretty good hotels over the last few years, none of which came anywhere near the standard of The Bay. I have found over the years that 5 star hotels seem to be too "yes sir", not The Bay. Although the service goes further than the 5 stars this hotel deserves, everybody wants to be your friend. The atmosphere and friendliness of the hotel is superb! The guys working around the pool decks are some of the most friendly peoeple I've had the pleasure of meeting. The views over the ocean are amazing, more so because of the many Humpback Whales playing out at sea. We miss Camps Bay and miss The Bay hotel even more! We WILL be going back!......SOON!

“A Home away from Home”

I stayed at the Bay for thirteen nights on a recent business trip. I traveled alone for the first week and my husband accompanied me for the second week. From the moment you set foot in this hotel, you are welcomed as if at home. The hotel is impeccably kept, service is consistently great, the room overlooking the pool and ocean was clean and well maintained. Loved staying at the Bay. Kudos to all the staff!

“The Bay Hotel is a gem”

The Bay Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a lovely location by the beach. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the quality of the service. Everyone, from the front desk, to the pool area staff to the restaurant staff, is truly accomodating and warm. It makes what is a very good hotel into a world class one. I just wish the prices were more often within our corporate limits so we could stay there all the time! The spa is also wonderful; I had several treatments while there and all were excellent. I highly recommend taking advantage of the fact that it's right there in the hotel, and you can even walk right out onto the pool deck afterwards.

“A gem of a hotel with beautiful views and atmosphere”

The Bay Hotel at Camps Bay was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Old fashioned colonial appearance (no high-rise) but modern muted colours and desisn inside with fabulous views of the sea-shore and table mountain. Tennis courts and a bowling green next to the hotel. Close proximity to many atmospheric reataurants and bars and good taxis outside. Staff excellent, friendly and relaxed but thoroughly professional service throughout. A truly charming seaside hotel in a truly wonderful location. Easy access to the scenic Cape Area and also to Cape Town. Would love to visit again and would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic stay, ideal setting in camps bay wonderful hotel and extremely helpful staff. They were always willingto help and aid all of our needs. Hotel is situated in a truly wonderful location, with an ideal location to sunbathe, people watch and the senic backdrop of the famous mountain ranges! Wuld highly recommend this hotel.
