We had a wonderful visit to Chatham and enjoyed this B&B very much. The service was outstanding....great team. The Inn was comfortable and well located. Our room was a bit disappointing, however. Had a view of the parking lot and the ceiling in the room was an office-like drop ceiling that was 8 feet. so it felt a bit cramped. Would recommend but focus on staying in another room at the property.

Everything was easy to get too. The Owners and Staff made you feel like you were the only guests. The Breakfast and fresh baked snacks everyday were tremendous!

The owner is on site and the bakery goods they provide are amazing. Breakfast was very good as well. Staff is very accommodating. I would recommend this place and I have never stayed at a Bed and breakfast. The only downfall for me was I was getting ready for a wedding and my hair is curly. Air condition was off as not needed in October. But hot shower made room very humid thus my hair became frizzy.

All of our rooms have AC units that do both heating and cooling. Each guest can adjust the temperature as per their liking and make the room cooler or warmer. As part of our check-in process, we show all of our guests how to use the units and adjust the temperature themselves. Remarkably friendly and helpful. Rooms tidy though a tad small. Perfectly situated unless you want on water. Great breakfast.

Private but separate bath.
Bath was private but not connected to room. You had to go out in hall. I did not realize this when I made the reservation.

Sorry you did not read the full description of the room you reserved. The is a full description of all of our rooms on the web site. The room you selected, called Monomoy, is our lowest priced and only Budget Queen room. Happy that you found the rest of your stay very enjoyable.

Judy and Ray were amazing hosts! They were SO attentive and their goal was obviously to make you feel welcome and spoiled. Their breakfasts were great...they had many gluten free options, all tasty, and some even homeade!! Not something you generally see. We will definitely be returning!

The staff, facility, room and breakfasts at the Old Harbor Inn were consistently excellent. We were warmly greeted, thoroughly familiarized with the delights of both the Inn and Chatham, kept cozy in our comfy bed and room, and provided with gourmet breakfasts daily in a lovely setting. Staff, especially Tanya and Rachel, supported us throughout with helpful suggestions and assistance. Amenities included ice cream and wine tour vouchers, nightly chocolates, and endless supplies of snacks and beverages. A location in near walking distance to Chatham’s many attractions is only the frosting on this Chatham cake.

Great upscale Bed & Breakfast
The Old Harbor Inn was a fantastic experience, with a wonderful staff. The place is a true Bed & Breakfast at the center of Chatham, steps from shopping and restaurants. Judy and Ray run the place, and both live there as well so it has a homey feel. The rooms are in impeccable condition, and the service is spot on. They have a terrace on the back of the large home (which looks small from the street), complete with a Koi Pond at the lower level. We will be back to the Old Harbor Inn for our next stay in Chatham.
