“Friendliness and comfort”
A lovely hotel and very friendly staff. We had a great room with a warming gas fire, which was just the thing in the wintery cold. And as we arrived we were offered wine and a very tasty cheeseboard, which was great after a long drive along the Cape. The only thing to mention is that we didn't realise that dinner stopped being served at 8pm, and so initially at 830 we were told that we couldn't be served. The serving staff must have taken pity on our hungry, crestfallen faces though, and served us anyway - a very tasty meal. So I don't know whether this is just an off-season thing, or whether it's just the local custom, but beware if you like eating late! It may also be worth flagging to those traveling to Provincetown off-season - it's very, very quiet. Very quiet. We whispered in the street for fear of disturbing people. Maybe it's livelier at the weekend, but I was there during the week and don't think I've seen a more surreal place than this: all lit up and beautiful with hardly a soul in sight!
“Relaxing, romantic night away”
The Crown Pointe Historic Inn and Spa was everything the website made it out to be. I would definitely go back.
“Excellent wee hotel!”
This was a great little find! Really well equipped room, very clean and loved having our own external entrance, felt like you had a home for the night. Staff were extremely helpful. The evening wine and cheese reception were a nice touch and the included breakfast was brilliant. We also used the spa facilities, a nice treat. Really enjoyed our stay here.
“Excellent resort/spa/bed-breakfast feel”
great place, nice rooms, wine/cheese every night, hot tub, and close to town.
“They could not pay me enough to go back”
Not a pleasant experience. Over priced and over rated. Room tiny. Pool more a plunge pool. Some staff rude and aggressive. Avoid at all costs.
“VERY WELL IMPRESSED WITH HOTEL”
EXCELENT HOTEL. MAGNIFICENT SERVICE
“overpriced average hotel but not too bad overall”
make sure you get a room upstairs and not on the ground floor due to limited lighting, also room size varies from room to room. generally overpriced for the quality they offer. extremely mediocre breakfast for such a high room rate, breakfast looked like it would be at best western or days inn with the limited number of items and those that they had were the cheapest possible, very disappointed. otherwise it's a charming place that's close to everything. during my stay the hot tub and pool were not properly maintained and cleaned.
“Great stay at Crowne Pointe”
Our stay at Crowne Pointe was excellent. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, escorted to our beautiful room. The stay included a cocktail reception prior to dinner. The food was incredible! We can't wait to go back to Provincetown and will definitely be returning to Crowne Pointe!!!!!
“Fantastic stay....”
The staff was extremely helpful. The location is great if you want to be in the heart of it all but yet have a quite and relaxing getaway. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice touch along with the cheese and wine every evening. We also had dinner at the bistro and it was one of the best meals we had during our visit. Great experience.
“pleasantly surprised with their attentiveness”
Pleasantly surprised at the central location, yet on a quiet street and the attentiveness of the staff. Always asking if you need anything for the day like dinner reservations, events in the area, tourist attractions, etc. Spa was nice and certain parts free to the guests of the hotel. Swimming pool & hot tub open 24 hours. Mostly an adult hotel with a good mix of straight and gay clientele.
