“Great location away from crowds”

Baywood is located on a bluff overlooking the Bay. It gives the feeling of being your private getaway. The site is such that one sees no other signs of civilization other than boats on the bay. Very peaceful and quiet. The town of Cape Charles is a convenient 10 miles away. We will be returning.

“Lovely site and friendly people”

This is a beautiful location. The hosts are very gracious and helpful. It is a bit off the beaten path, which was perfect for us.Home is modern and nicely appointed. One exceedingly friendly cat (who loves people but is not allowed in the guest rooms). Breakfast was large, tasty, and skillfully prepared and served. Stairs to the beach a bit rickety, but the walk was worth it . Beautiful bay/sunset/bird viewing area right in the back yard. Very handy to Cape Charles and to a couple of state park recreational areas. Would go again any time I'm in the neighborhood.

“Perfect Getaway”

Very nice B&B, tucked back in the woods by the bay. The owner was very nice and helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean and quiet. The views from our balcony were beautiful. Breakfast was very tasty and satisfying. We have already made plans to stay there again in the future.

Area recommendations
The owner told us about Cape Charles and Marina Village. Had early dinner at one of the restaurants on the water. FANTASTIC!!

“Easy Getaway on the Bay”

This B&B was very easy to get to from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel. A beautiful little B&B tucked away in a great location. The home was over three years old but seemed brand new. The owner was very friendly and very accomodating. She may want to expand her cullinary skills for the breakfast choices though but still very good and "homey". Will go back for sure!
