We had a really lovely time. The resort was beautiful, well-kept, and surprisingly quiet. We definitely were able to do our own thing or enjoy the company of others when we wanted. The restaurants were decent and the services great. The only down side was that the beach was muddy with seaweed, which I understand was something that was happening all over the Caribbean and not just this beach. Overall, we had a great time.
Stayed with my husband and 1 year old baby. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Our suite was superb and we loved our plunge pool. Food was delicious but we felt it was slightly overpriced. The golf carts were an excellent idea to help us get to both the private and public beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families and couples alike.

"Quiet Family Oriented Resort in Private Cap Cana "
Luxury Resort was smaller than most, but thats what we were looking for. We traveled with our daughters 8 and 9. Therefore the resort was perfect we were able to watch our girls in the pool from anywhere on the resort. The staff was excellent, the food was amazing no buffets all menu eating. They were more than accomodating on any request.

The Hotel is nice, but Cap Cana area has no life, everything is far, the project seems to be dead. This hotel is ok only if you like to play golf, otherwise you should look for other option. The property is new, rooms are nice and big.
We had a wonderful time at the Punta Palmera. The view was stunning and was almost too perfect to be real! The pool was sparkling and was quiet enough for us to get chairs everyday. Our apartment was quite spacious and wonderfully put together with IKEA decor. The area around the marina is still quite new so only had two restaurants (both were delicious!) but the apartment had a great kitchen so we were able to put together a few meals. Unfortunately my daughter's luggage didn't arrive for three days however the management diligently called several times a day to check on it's status. She was as excited as we were when it finally arrived!!! This area along with the hotel is very new so there weren't a lot of people around which was fine with us. I could see how this could be a bustling vibrant area within a few years which may interrupt that quiet. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it as a great family vacation.
Great stay. We were upgraded to the new and modern Alsol Tiara. Hotel is huge however food is a dissapointment. Very few options and limited menu in only open restaurants. Pool is amazing and other facilities as well. Drinks are top shelf
The fishing lodge at Cap Cana was very nice. Unfortunatly the name was changed to Alsol so it was very confusing for us upon arriving. you should update your website. Our unit that we rented was privately owned so it was impossible to get any service on our appliances . The dryer didn't work. The toliet in the master bath didn't work, Several common appliances such as Hair dryer,coffee maker,towels were in available in the unit.
