“No frills at bargain rates”

We had a 2nd-floor room with a door to the outside. I would have preferred an inside hallway. The elevator would only work with a room key. Cleaning staff had left a dirty bath towel from the previous guest hanging on a hook on the back of the bathroom door. The sink was outside the tub/toilet area, which we liked, but the tub/toilet area was VERY small. The room was too small overall. We didn't like the heater/air-conditioner. It was very cold outside, but having the heat on was noisy and the unit was on the floor. We prefer the heating/cooling up high on the wall with a thermostat on the wall, and much quieter operation. It is a bargain hotel with no frills. A nice touch was offering complimentary dinner, but the food was cold and tasteless.

“Not Really Fairfield”

This hotel is just OK. I suspect it's really a re-badged Super 8, though. All exterior entrances plus really small rooms. Not what I expected.

“Don't use this hotel-Fairfield Canton”

Our room was small and musty. The TV remote, hair dryer and telephone didn't work. The hair dryer was replaced. One night our room was not cleaned until after 8:00pm. I don't think we will return to this hotel.

“Never again.”

I was very unhappy with the hotel. The rooms were small with noise from the room above and on both side of me. I will never stay at this Fairfield by Marriott again.
