"5-star hotel; super-clean; fantastic ammenities"
My friend and I went to a concert near Pittsburgh, but forgot to book overnight accommodations. As we searched online, we saw that 300 other people were also looking for a room. Luckily, this one came up and was available. It was reasonably priced, non-smoking and close enough to our venue to travel there. When we arrived, the staff were a bit overwhelmed--apparently not expecting a full house on a Saturday night. Nonetheless, they were professional. Although our room was not the two queens we booked, we were upgraded to a suite, which we took gratefully. I slept on a very, very comfortable couch and gave the king size bed to my friend. Everything was in perfect condition; super clean; brand new. The kitchen in the suite was ideal for a late-night meal, which we were able to purchase in their commissary and prepare in the suite's kitchen. The full breakfast the next morning was tremendously varied; not just sugary carbs. Eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, ham, sausage. Fruit, juices, coffee, yogurt, pastries, cereals, oatmeal, etc., etc., etc. The day staff were excellent in the dining area and the front desk; very accommodating. In fact, the desk attendant gave me a AAA battery because the one in my insulin pump died. After a healthful breakfast that included a banana and oatmeal with raisins and apples, I really needed to administer insulin as soon as possible. Thankfully, the hotel staff were very understanding and had a spare battery on hand. Thank God!
