I've never written a review before but feel I have to here. I unfortunately book the hotel then read the reviews that said don't stay here and they were right. We had to pay for towels for our room when we checked in. Then waited 20 minutes to get into garage as something wasn't working. Got to our room and it had not even been cleaned so had to stay in the room while the maid service cleaned as they wanted me to lug all my bags back out of the room. There were bars on the windows and some sort of chicken wire on balconies. Hotels.com should take hotels like this off and whatever company owns the hotel should be ashamed that they are calling themselves one.

Not A Hotel & They WIll Try To Overcharge You

This is an apartment. It is not an Apart-hotel. There is no service like a hotel here at all. They do not clean at any time of your stay even if you ask. You must then buy all cleaning supplies to clean it yourself. It's not posted, but extra towels, toilette paper and soap are extra charges if you need them. They tried to charge 9 euro per towel (27 euro) for three clean towels we needed after 2 days of no one coming to the room to clean or change towels. Hair is on the bed sheets and pillows, dirt behind the doors and no dishwashing liquid or cleaning brushes to wash your dishes. The pools are not maintained well and I wouldn't put my kids in there. So although the pictures are nice, the people staying there who play music loud, yell and scream on their balconies at night, unclean pool as well as unclean cafe, are all so below standard that you end up taking the bus or taxi to go somewhere else nicer or more decent in the centre.

Maeva appartments are only just satisfactory. Sheets given on arrival. Make your own beds, clean your own room. Limited reception hours. Building will soon need a face lift. Our balcony was deteriorating from neglect. Noise! Noise Noise. from neighbours above and passing in corridor. Train passing frequently in front. Pool nice but not non-swimmer/beginner friendly. Step outside and avoid the dog muck and cigarette ends. Sandy beach short walk only but not much width. Cigarette ends litter the little sand there is. Evening Cannes la boca is sleazy so take care! Economy Supermarkets ie. Intermarche and carrefour a bus ride away. Any problems, common answer 'it has nothing to do with us!'

The hotel is ever a 3 star hotel, as the pool was dirty (I have a pool at home and this one in the hotel was scary dirty...filthy I would say), no A/C, the trains are driving through your room 50 times a day and the room made so small that no space for suitcages at all! We checked out 2 days early....

We had a 6th floor apartment which could sleep 6/7 we were only two but it gave us more space and comfort then expected. We Stayed in these apartments before but in a privately owned apartment and found that this one, rented through Expedia was superior in size and fittings. Obviously, at the price, luxuriouos surroundings are not expected but it was clean, had everything we required except a kettle (it had a coffee maker). Improvements from previous years included corridors much cleaner, more poolside furniture, refurbished lifts and a fresher look at Reception. Best thing the outing to St. Paul de Vence/Gourdon arranged by the Pierre & Vacance group. Faboulous tour in mini buses with vey good helpful guides/drivers. Negatives include the night entrance/exit arrangements when the main entrance is locked at night, the messing of the entrance paths and surrounding pavements by dogs. The French seem worse than the British as far as dog mess is concerned. Nevertheless I would go back there as I like the area and its bus and rail links to Cannes centre and the rest of the Cote d' Azure including the chance to go into Italy.

Very basic, dubious cleanliness, poor maintenance and indifferent staff. From charging extra for coarse towels to the strange stains on the walls and in my case a mixer tap on the bath that was stuck in shower mode this in not a place for the fainthearted. Do not arrive around lunch time as the reception is closed and you will be hanging around for a couple of hours with nowhere to put your luggage. There is no night porter service and entry at night is down a poorly lit side entrance that some people find intimidating.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. I went with my husband who was on a business trip and I wish I had stayed at home!! I know it was difficult to find accommodation due to MIPIM being held but I certainly would not recommend this accommodation to anyone.
