“Lovely but expensive”
It is a lovely hotel in a good location, no doubt about that. However, you are paying top dollar to have - among other things - a pool, and to be honest, the pool area is not very inviting. So instead you go to the beach (which is lovely) but that is not included in the price. And it adds up to quite a lot extra per person per day for sunbeds, towels and umbrellas. So although everything is lovely, I am left querying value for money. I'll go back to Juan Les Pins, stay in a cheap hotel, and just pay for the beach every day.
“A perfect hotel”
This was our second stay at the Hotel Juana and we're delighted to say that it was just as good as the first time, three years ago. We had a standard bedroom that was spacious, quiet and comfortable and a great bathroom with a huge corner bath and separate shower. The staff were marvellous, would do anything for you, and the concierge was very helpful on several occasions. We dined at the hotel twice and the food was superb, as was the breakfast (although that was quite expensive). The hotel is in a fairly quiet position opposite the park and only a couple of minutes walk from the sea. A couple of minutes the other way will take you to the lively part of town, but we didn't hear much noise from the hotel. There is quite a lot of traffic in front of the hotel during the day, but it does die down in the evening. A word of warning - the South of France, including Juan les Pins and Antibes, gets very crowded from the beginning of July and if you have a car, be prepared for a lot of traffic along the coast. If you want less crowds and traffic, go before the end of June.
“J'dore Juan les Pins!!”
Given that everything on the French Riviera is expensive and the fact that we were there the week before the Cannes Film Festival I Ioved this hotel. The hotel is expensive but I felt we received compensating value. Its biggest plus is the fact that all the staff speak English {in addition to other languages} but everyone is extremely helpful, friendly and make you feel appreciated. The hotel is centrally located and convenient for restaurants, beach, casino, bus and train -- all within 10-15 minutes walking. The sea view rooms give you a great vista of the coast line. The hotel is owned by the same individual that owns the Belle Rive - about 4 blocks away and gives you free access to a beach front restaurant, beach and water sporting activities. The concierge {and entire staff} is excellent at helping you make arrangements for anything you may wish to do. The rooms are spacious, considering European standands, and the bathrooms are very well appointedc with an excellent shower, along with a large bathtub. Another plus is that if you are travelling by with the TGV is that the TGV stops in Antibes - about a 10 minute taxi ride to the Hotel Juana. We stayed 5 days and took the daily breakfast option which I felt was more than adequate. My wife thought they should have had a larger/different variety since the menu is the same every day, but with eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, fruit, a hot vegetable casserole, juice & water it is more than adequate.
“just perfect.”
everything was just perfect.
“Great little gem in Juan Les Pins”
The hotel was gorgeous and adorable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The price was great.
“Enjoyable and Comfortable Stay”
Our standard non-ocean view was quite large by European standards and very comfortable. Furnishings and bathroom were very modern and seemed new. Hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful (parking and retreiving our rental car, locating nearest bank machine and recommending a very nice restuarant). Hotel is located close to shopping and restuarants and is situated across from a park.
“Great Find!!!”
The hotel was a little gem. The staff were all fabulous- from check in to the dining room. We had one dinner and found the food to be very good and very reasonable given the location but make reservations. The sister hotel on the ocean is a treasure and lovely for lunch or dinner. For once I could'nt think of anything to complain about!
“Loved!!!!”
We just stayed at Hotel Juana before going to St.Tropez and it was lovely!!!! The Hotel is gorgeous with the best location in Juan les Pins. The staff was great, the room very comfortable, quiet and clean. The bathroom huge and very nice. the best was the dinner at the restaurant with beautiful people and amazing food and service. Definetly we would go back, it was one of the best hotels during our trip to the French Riviera.
“Great Cote D'Azur hotel”
friendly hotel staff very helpful restaurant is an excellent bistro type with reasonable prices concierge was tremendous would return any time I could
“Very comfortable place to stay”
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Juana for 5 nights while I was at a conference. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff was most gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts on the terrace under the palms was magical. While Juan-les-Pins is rather dead in off-season, I am sure that the hotel would be a luxurious oasis in the bustle of the summer peak.
