Great hotel for exploring the area

Posted 22-Jun-2015
Great location, 150 metres from the beach promenade. Plenty of restaurants at a vatiety of prices. Private beach much like the rest in Juan-les-Pins, 20€ for a lounger, there is a free public beach about 500 metres away. Very handy for the train station to go towards Cannes and Monaco. Rooms are excellent, with balconies off a relatively quiet street, very clean with loads of cupboard space and comfy bed and air conditioning. Didn't go half-board, but there's an excellent patisserie on Ave Président Wilson, which is an easy walk into Antibes town. If you have a car, there is an underground car park, but unless you have a smart car it's very tight!

Bare deilig. Passe avstand fra strand og by.

Posted 03-Jun-2015
Pros: En skikkelig tverr dame i resepsjonen. Flere enn jeg opplevde det. Mørk krøllete hår , tynn. ALLE DE ANDRE VAR SJØNNE
Cons: Legg en liste over priser på rommet
Veldig fint hotell. Men vet dere hva ? De tar 25 euro for en av hotellets solsenger på piren og 15 euro for solseng på stranda. Og da får du gratis håndkle !! sånn er det på Rivieraen

CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND TRAIN STATION

Posted 30-May-2015
Pros: THE LOCATION
Cons: REDUCE THE PRICE OF BREAKFAST - IT IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND I NOTED THAT IF YOU WISH TO INCLUDE AN EGG, IT WAS AN EXTRA 4EUROS!! MORE FRIENDLY STAFF!
Location: TRAIN STATION, BUSES, LOTS OF PLACES TO EAT DOWN SIDE STREETS. PUBLIC BEACH A FEW YARDS AWAY FROM THE HOTEL. ANTIBES IS A MUST PLACE TO VISIT.
FOR EVERY DAY YOU STAY, THEY WILL BE A TAX TO PAY AT CHECK OUT. THERE IS A CASINO SUPERMARKET CLOSE TO THE HOTEL - IT IS SELLS REASONABLY PRICED FOOD AND DRINK. AROUND THE CORNER IS THE TRAIN STATION THAT GOES TO MONACO, MONTE CARLO FOR 10 EUROS (ADULT FARE). ANTIBES IS A BEAUTIFUL OLD TOWN WITH NARROW STREETS, A LARGE HARBOUR/MARINA, BIG EXPENSIVE BOATS, SHOPS AND A MARKET - IT IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, 10 MINS AWAY; NEARBY IS A TOWN CENTRE WITH SHOPS. EVERY RESTAURANT BY THE BEACH SELLS AND SERVES FAST FOOD WHICH IS PRICEY. TAKE AWAYS DOWN SIDE STREETS SELL PIZZA, KEBABS AND HOTDOGS AT GOOD PRICES. IT IS EASY TO TAKE THE BUS FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL - TAKE BUS NUMBER 250. THE BUS STATION IS OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT EXIT - IT COSTS 15 EUROS ONE WAY. GET OFF AT "LA REGENCE " AND WALK DOWN 2 STREETS TO THE HOTEL. EVERY STOP IS ANNOUNCED - SO DONT WORRY ABOUT MISSING THE STOP. MY ROOM WAS ON THE 4TH FLOOR - IT GOT THE SUN IN THE MORNINGS, THE BATHROOM LOOKED NEW AND VERY CLEAN, WITH A HEATED TOWEL RAIL. THERE WAS A CHILLER FOR KEEPING DRINKS COOL, TEA CUPS AND A KETTLE SO BRING YOUR TEABAGS! THE BALCONY HAD A SMALL WICKER TABLE AND CHAIRS. THERE WERE 2 LIFTS OUTSIDE THE DOOR, ONE OF WHICH MADE ALOT OF BANGING NOISE WHEN OPENED AND CLOSED. THE BEACH IS STUNNING - THERE IS A FREE PUBLIC BEACH YARDS UP THE ROAD. HOTEL HELIOS ASK FOR PAYMENT TO USE THEIR PART OF THE BEACH SO BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL - HOPE ALL THIS HELPS YOU TO GET A SENSE OF THE PLACE AND NAVIGATE!!

Close to beach, restaurants, train station

Posted 15-May-2015
very nice hotel! we were upgraded to have a balcony and could see the water from there. Loved the balcony and the room/bathroom. very spacious and comfortable! small town, so there isn't much to do, but everything is walking distance and the hotel is very close to the train station - you could easily take the train to Cannes or Antibes (old town). Nightlife in this little town was really cool - nice bars and restaurants. Also, the beach has sand, not many in France do, so it would be nice for a beach day/weekend type trip.

Older style hotel but close to beach and town

Posted 07-May-2015
Well located hotel but quite packed in around other buildings and therefore reasonably noisy - which seems to mainly come from the streets below. We were upgraded to a superior room which had a massive bed and was nice, but had no view unfortunately which I think is probably the case with most of the rooms. Staff very friendly and pleasant but parking quite expensive at 15 euros per night in the pokey underground car park - tip: don't rent a large car!!

Lovely, welcoming hotel staff! Good location

Posted 19-Apr-2015
Pros: Clean, lovely location
Hotel staff were very happy to welcome me after a long day of being on the road, things were offered before asked for. Restaurants are close by (about a 4 minute walk) and the room was spotless.

Wonderful rooms in the heart of JLP and near beach

Posted 29-Mar-2015
Pros: - comfortable beds. - very quiet rooms. - HUGE rooms - spotlessly clean - large closet space - free WiFi
Cons: - refresh the lobby
Location: It is in the heart of Juan-les-Pins. You can head to the beach, some good restaurants, wander through the Cap d'Antibes, etc.
Love this hotel. The rooms are huge, spotlessly clean, have nice products (Yves Rocher) and are QUIET. The rooms are well appointed, have a minibar (not with excessive charges), large closest space, etc. The hotel is in the heart of JLP, so everything is nearby - restaurants, train station, beach, bus to the airport, etc. I asked some questions to the staff and when they didn't have the answers, they made sure to get them and let me know. The lobby is in need of some refreshing - but don't let that put you off. The rooms are far nicer than what one would think at the entrance.
