Lovely stay - my first stay in a hotel in Antibes since selling my flat there where I had lived for over 20 years! The staff were so helpful and instead of the studio I was expecting I had a whole apartment for myself! Very impressive.
We booked this hotel after seeing an article about it in a magazine... we're so glad we did! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty... the staff couldn't do enough for us! It is everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel but the attention to detail really sets it apart from anywhere else we've stayed. Andries (reception and housekeeping manager) was amazing and really made our stay.... he's a mine of information and so incredibly helpful. The service, rooms, pool and jacuzzi areas are beautifully maintained and an army of staff work round the clock to keep it so.
Mougins itself is a charm.... just up the hill from the hotel. If your legs aren't up to it the hotel are happy to whiz you up in the golf buggy! Mougins (the old village) has a number of lovely restaurants and it also has a fabulous museum which houses an incredible private collection ... well worth a look !
Le Mas Candille has it spot on.... luxurious without being pretentious and it's all in the details! Worth every single one of it's 5 stars. We haven't stopped talking about it since we got home and have recommended it to almost anyone who'll listen. Well done Le Mas!!!
I don't normally write reviews, but this apart-hotel was so good in every respect it seems worth sharing. The room was clean and comfortable with aircon that worked, a useful kitchenette and nice balcony. Security was excellent with a decent safe-box and auto-matic shutters which also kept the room nice and dark on Summer mornings. Pool was clean and quiet. The neighbourhood of Le Cannet is a lovely, peaceful gem with an old artistic quarter, essentially 2km out from the centre of Cannes. Regular bus at 1.50Euro runs late in to night. We hired a car and found free parking in local streets - or you can use the secure parking at a fee (deal for 7 days). Getting to the motorway to the north of Cannes is easy (5 mins) from which you can get to anywhere on Cote D'Azur.
I had some business to take care of during our holiday and the reception staff were incredibly helpful copying, scanning, pdf to stick and vice-versa, plus printing boarding passess etc. Nothing was too much trouble and all free of charge - this is much better than the pricey so called business hotels I frequent.
We will definitely go back when visiting Cannes/ Cote D'Azur

We stayed in the junior apartment for 1 week in September. The apartment was a great size for 2 people, but was still comfortable for the 3 of us (although the bed was more comfortable than the sofa bed). It was very modern and functional- and we were pleasantly surprised with the kitchenette which was a great size so we could cook our own meals. We had a lovely balcony- not a sea view, but was nice to eat our breakfast out in the sunshine. The location was great! It was down a little road off the front but was just a minutes walk to the beautiful public beach, and an easy walk to the Palais des Festivals, the Marche Forville, La Croisette and the church and museum in Le Suquet. It was just a few minutes walk from the bus station, where we were dropped off by the coach from Nice aiport. The staff at the 24hr reception were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and as students, think it would be good accommodation for anyone, particularly couples/friends.
