We booked an early Sept getaway in order to miss the school holiday crowds. The hotel was at only 20% occupancy which worked well for us as we received very personalized care and attention. We were upgraded on arrival and the views from the terrace of our suite were really lovely. The hotel site is big and a little hilly (especially with a little one in tow) so the golf carts operated by the hotel team are a welcome bonus in getting around. The fine dining restaurant was outstanding while the more causal options including near the pool were also good. You need a car to get around and see the surrounding areas and my partner is French which also helped in communications both in the hotel and outside (although everyone spoke good English). It was a shame that I didn't bring my golf gear as the course looks in beautiful condition and I didn't see anyone on it. However the Spa was excellent both in terms of the quality of the treatments but also the look, feel, maintenance and cleanliness and the hotel pool was large and with spin off areas for kids and jacuzzi. We discussed whether we would feel the same if there were super busy and that is difficult to guess at but we both agreed that it was a fabulous place to stay and the whole experience was very child-friendly (especially the staff). Our only "issue" was that we didn't realize until we left that we could have requested a different mattress for the bed. A minor issue on what was altogether a really lovely and relaxing stay.
Generally ok. We stayed in newly refurbished rooms, which were nice but much more modern than we expected. We booked for dinner at the outdoor restaurant, lovely location. When we arrived on time we were told they were a bit busy and we should go away and come back in 20 mins, which was a bit rude.
When we came back, we had a lovely meal and the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Overall, nice location, good food but very slightly jaded. I will forgive the staff as a one off.
This is an excellent new Hotel in Beautiful setting. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Make sure you have a good Map or GPS as it is not easy to find. A car is pretty much a must if you are staying at this hotel.
Overall it is an excellent value except for the Breakfast which is good but overpriced at 18 Euros.
Pleasant hotel, good value, bus stop right outside hotel takes you straight into Cannes about 20 minutes, at Euro 1.40. Taxi about Euro 25. Would definitely be happy to stay there again. Would help if staff spoke some English.
Nice Hotel, pity about the restaurant menu.
The refurbishment seems to have improved the hotel from previous visits, however, the menu in the restaurant is very limited and does not compare, either by content or cost, with those on offer elsewhere in the village, all of which are within 300 meters. This is a pity because we did not eat in the hotel this year whereas 4 years ago we ate in the restaurant several times during our stay.
