First rate location in Cannes

Posted 10-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, location, location. Close to all the attractions and entertainment in Cannes.
Cons: Reception staff could be "warmer" The hotel advertises parking - but none seemed ever available. The alternative was expensive public parking
Location: Perfect - central. Close to seafront, shopping, bars, restaurants.
A very central hotel in Cannes - close to the Seafront and Croisette and located in the major shopping area - close to numerous restaurants, bars and cafés. Helpful concierge and nice, clean and comfortable room.

Good hotel in great location

Posted 04-Jul-2014
Pros: Easy to find, comfortable, good location, underground parking
The hotel was in a good location in Cannes, near restaurants, shops and the seafront. The room was comfortable, hotel staff very friendly and helpful; I would definitely stay there again if I come back to Cannes.

Well located close to the main Cannes Croisette

Posted 03-Jul-2014
Overall a very nice hotel. Good staff, great location. Quite noisy if on the Rue d Antibes side with the sea view. Breakfast good but not worth €20. €17 for the outside pool area is extortionate as it's really quite poor. Room aircon could be better too.

Good hotel, great location

Posted 14-Jun-2014
We had a 3 night stay here and found it good value for money. It's on the main shopping street in Cannes, and a short walk to the beach (10-15 min). Room was clean and had everything we needed. Only slightly disappointing thing was that you had to pay extra for the outdoor pool. The indoor pool was free though and was nice and clean.

Boutique style hotel on the famous Rue D'Antibes

Posted 17-Oct-2013
Pros: Access to shops (right on main street). Access to beaches (300m). Cleanliness and no nonsense minimal style. Roof top mini pool (when open!). Quiet.
Cons: The style and ambience of the hotel is dark and broody and it does work well but the common areas could do with more lighting or lighter colours.
Location: Everything you could ever need is on your doorstep.
Attractive 'on the street' boutique style hotel, in a good location at the top end of the busy main shopping street. Welcomed by attentive staff, English spoken reasonably well on check-in but perhaps not as slick as some larger establishments. Luggage immediately taken to our room on the sixth floor, and a small tip given. Breakfasts were expensive so we walked to the Rue Hoche area instead where there's lots of reasonable places to try. The room was spacious with a decent balcony and the staff had set up a kids bed for us as requested which was great, as was the little kids welcome with drawing crayons etc. A pleasant surprise was the kettle and hair drier. The rooms are immaculate and air conditioning extremely good providing well filtered air. Beds reasonably comfy but if pushed to comment they do have deep wells in them from use. Bathroom was well presented with short bath with shower over and vanity basin. WC was in a separate enclosure next door. Plenty of hot water throughout our stay and nice little bottles of shower gel and shampoo. Access is by lift which was quite slow. Ground-floor indoor swimming pool was great, not large but well conceived if a little dark. The small roof top pool and Jacuzzi were fabulous which made it all the more disappointing when they were closed for the season. It would be nice for these facilities to be available year round. All in all a great stay.

Fantastic Service

Every member of staff we met during our 2 day stay went out of their way to make us feel welcome and offer advice. The hotel is extremely functional, good location, good breakfast. Would absolutely stay again.

Pretty Good Considering Cannes

Posted 06-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is located nestled between a highway and some variable use buildings. Walk down Rue Canada to the beach in minutes or into the center and historical district in less than 15 minutes, train station within 8 minutes. The hotel overlooks a highway, it is highway noise coupled with a bar, loud music hamburger place. The soundproofing is ok, windows open_NOT. The place needs a real cleaning and some attention. The lobbies are very dark, no windows. Roof deck was closed, a very dark humid pool, is available indoors I just did not find it very appealing. The room was small but well done. Wood floors and hallways will not dampen your neighbors activities. Still, it is off beach and priced right. The front desk, doorman etc. were wonderful and super helpful. Overall I liked my visit and is you want value, location and can put up with the "you get what you pay for" fact of travel life...sometimes less... than this will do just fine.
