“Grand Melia”
Good: Excellent hotel with superb facilities and reasonable price, amazing interior with variety of restaurants. Bad: Very slow service in restaurant Hassle by staff trying to get you to 'presentations' to sell you stuff
“Endless signing of receipts!”
While the location and hotel itself was very comfortable, found the system archaic. You had to sign for every drink or meal you had, giving your room no. even though it was all inclusive deal. Big nuisance. The room fridge too had free and chargeable items and this was very confusing and you were presented with a bill at the end of your stay. Juices were charged for and so was wine, but not the beer! Wierd or what? Restaurants/bars were shortstaffed so you waited ages for service.
