I would say when we first arrived to the hotel, it was a beautiful sight. You could see the ocean and feel the ocean breeze from the lobby from front desk. The bell staff is great, cheerful and helpful. Once you get to the checkin staff there’s a shift. The staff is almost mechanical, they don’t smile a whole lot and they rush through the checkin process which is good because you can get to your room and swim suit asap but bad because you miss important details about the hotel and it’s services.
My room was ok, I had an ocean view. After spending a total of five days I noticed that the cleaning staff doesn’t really wipe the counters but they do everything else they’re supposed to do. Unfortunately, maybe they need to fumigate the entire building but I saw two roaches both in the bathroom and separate occasions. It was gross and disappointing!
The food is not great. The burger meat is bland, chips are stale, the oyster meal during dinner had small pieces of shell in the actual sauce. I was lucky I didn’t lose a tooth when I bit into it. Some of the waiters are really crabby they looked like they don’t want to be there. There are exceptions, some were wonderful!
Pros: kiddie waterpark area, game room, mini golf, pool(you have to get to pool early to get a chair), all the drinks you want, ocean view from hotel, accessibility to beach
