“Had a good time will go back again”
The help could not be more helpful, from check in to checkout time, could not ask for anything else in our stay
“go enough for the price, if you don't care the food much”
hotel is quite old, which I don't mind, bed is very comfortable; though it happened once that in the middle of shower we were out of water, including sink and toilet, and it came back again after 15 minutes; every room has ocean view, we got a room even close to ocean side, can hear wave at night, view is very nice; there are 5 a-la-cart restaurant, they are nice except French one, but the food in buffet retaurant really need to improve, I'm not a picky person, but every time I go there I can only find 2 or 3 things to swallow. They provide lots of activities for kids, but not much for adults, we ended up a little bit bored there. Price is very good compare with other hotels. So if you go with family and kids, and kids doesn't care about food quality, it's a good choice.
“Good hotel”
Overall good hotel, there is a road construction going in front of the main entrance which made driving a little inconvenient. We also had some troubles with water and electricity which hotel maintenance was able to resolve but still very annoying. The best part is the beach and entertainment. Staff was very good. Location is excellent, if you rent a car its 5 min drive to Wet'n Wild park, 20mins to Downtown Cancun and ~2h to XCaret. Food is OK. The best food was in the French restaurant which is unfortunately adults only place. But we were able to get a babysitter for just $10/h. Our kids also enjoyed small water park right inside the hotel. It is small but fun for kids <5 y.o.
“Family-friendly hotel”
I had a wonderful time and I would come back again!
“great family resort!!!”
Although the beds weren't very comfortable, we would return to crown paradise in the future since the amenities offered out-weigh the uncomfortable beds. Our 7 year old had a blast & so did we!! Drinks, food, entertainment & service were amazing!! Some food wasn't our style, but there was a wide variety to please all. The staff was helpful and eager to please at any time of day or night!! The kids paradise was hours of fun for our son and the afternoon pool activities were also fun!! This is a fanatic resort for families with younger kids.
“Can't wait to go back.”
Great view from 6th floor, great food, great room, great service, we were treated like royalty!!!
“Great hotel, not so great food...”
This hotel was beautiful, and overall our experience was wonderful. The only thing I would change was the lunch buffet. The food was mediocre and the salad bar was pathetic. The evening meals were amazing, so I have no doubt that they could easily improve the lunch buffet. R
“Not the best, not the worst, great price”
This was a good middle of the road hotel. As in all of Mexico the beds were horrible and everyone complained of sore backs. The food was good but not great. It looked like they were trying to keep up on the maintence but were not gaining ground. The beaches and water were some of the best we have seen, although beach chairs left somethong to be desired. We were there for a wedding and they did a somewhat nice job with that. The ease in getting into on the bus was great. Not having to always pay for a taxi was a good savings. There was a musty smell in our room and especially the closet smelled the strongest. Also when it rained the sewer smell was stronger.
“Great Kids Club, great restaurants!!”
Lots of activities for the young ones in the Kids Club, leaving time for Mom & Dad to enjoy the adult pool! Great selection of restaurants, so you don't get bored of the buffet. The condition of the hotel looks a lot better in the pictures than in person; however, for an older hotel you can't complain.Hard beds, but I think that is just the norm in Mexico....
“Wedding trip!!!---Wont go Back---Please read before booking!!!”
10/26-11/1 2011 we will not be back!!! Why do they charge full price to go there and only be able to use half of the restaurants and ammenities, it should have been half price!!! The hotel is very outdated, drinks were watered down(drank tequila all day and still sober), most of hotel staff nice, but others were very rude! There were 16 of us and the only people that had a good time was 3 out of 6 of our children!!!..was supposed to get married on the beach on 10/28 but couldnt get ahold of the wedding planner for 2 days after we arrived, also booked a restaurant and meals for all of our guests in advance, when we arrived we found out that the restaurant was closed for remodeling....then was told another restaurant was open so we selected it, to be told the day of our wedding that the restaurant was closed too!!! never got to experience all of the ammenities or restaurants they had, and as far as the kids club, and slides and zip lines and rock climbing. we had to sign a waiver for our kids to enjoy that! wedding ceremony was nice but the dj had a problem with his equipment during our wedding!everyone kept saying waynes boots is the best, but it was very average at best! there was even a day that they didnt serve alcohol at all cause of weather! i think overall this resort really sucked! You would think that after all the money we spent, they would have took better care of us! this was my 8th trip to cancun and have been to many resorts, by far this is the worse so far!
