Great location & well priced

Posted 23-Nov-2014
Pros: Forrest is full of tree lined streets, yet close to Parliament House and the city
Location: Outlook across the road to the park with lots of trees is refreshing. Regular week-day bus service to city and Woden
Good quiet location, close to the city, comfortable bed and good sized room with cooking facilities, bathroom while a little small was clean and usable, staff friendly & helpful, good inexpensive restaurant with lovely park view. Well priced and happy to return.

Basic accommodation, you get what you pay for!

Posted 06-Nov-2014
Pros: It's cheap
Cons: Room could be bigger. Also when you open bathroom door it slams right into shower. It's all a bit cramped.
All good, no dramas, no frills, good location. There is really nothing else to say and i hate the fact that this system is asking me to write more and won't share the review unless I have so I am just making up words to make the system happy.

Very good location minutes drive to everywhere.

Posted 27-Oct-2014
Pros: Great Location minutes drives to anywhere...
Cons: The bed and bedding cloths were uncomfortable. Definitely an upgrade would make a great difference.
Location: Parliament house and Manuka Bars and restaurant and Manuka Oval are minutes away.
If your are single and going through a quick drive through Canberra, i recommend... I was expecting a bit more, but it is what you see it will be... It is a good little Motel in the hearth of the city, besides the Parliament house. Staff at the reception was very friendly giving good tips where to go and what to see in Canberra! Its a non smoke hotel, but my room was smelling like someone (probably a previous guest was a smoker). They changed my room without hesitate and made sure the other room was going to get cleaned and air freshened.

Pros: Locality. Close to manuka circle.
Cons: Cut down the noise in the morning.
Location: Went to floriade. Had nice Thai dinner at belconnen.
Very busy hotel. Lots of movements in the morning. Curtain does not shield light outside room. Too bright.

Central location

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Water pressure in shower.
Location: A short drive to Parliament House, Australian War Memorial, Manuka Stadium and Lake Burley Griffin. Walking distance to quite a few restaurants.
Not a place for an extended family holiday, but for a short stay in Canberra it's fine. Centrally located in walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to many attractions, like Parliament House and the War Memorial. Rooms are pretty basic, but clean and comfortable, double bed was a bit on the small side for two adults, especially if you are accustomed to a Queen or King sized. Free 500mb of Wifi was handy and a decent TV. Water pressure in the shower was lacking a bit, but overall this place is fine. You get what you pay for and given the price, I'd probably stay there again.
