Perfect location, perfect size for families.

Posted 19-Jul-2014
Pros: The rooms were clean & spacious. The location was close to the city shopping precinct and restaurants which was perfect for us.
Cons: The hotel met all our needs.
Location: We only had a 1 night stay but we were lclose to city centre shops and great restaurants. We had a lovely meal at Jamie's Italian.
We were extremely happy with our two bedroom apartment style accommodation. VERY spacious, modern decor and very clean. It's an easy 2 1/2 block walk to the Canberra Centre and great choice of restaurants.

Nice apartment for family with children

Posted 17-Jul-2014
Pros: Space, clean, location and good facility for young family.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Short drive to Dickson shops and good cafe around the corner.
We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Apart from the noise from the nearby construction when we were there, we think this is the best apartment we stayed in canberra compared to others. Good room service, no compliant.

Fantastic rooms ideal for families

Posted 15-Jul-2014
Clifton Suites was a most comfortable hotel with great facilities within the rooms to make our stay as easy as possible. The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom set-up was fantastic, plus a suitable kitchen for preparing meals as needed. The house-cleaning staff were terrific. It was handy to walk to town and travel to sights around Canberra. I would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to groups and families.

It was OK

Abit disappointing for the price we paid for a 2 bedroom. Lounge was uncomfortable, kitchen facilities good, main bedroom and ensuite spacious, bed not so great. The hotel overall looked abit tired. OK for an overnight.

Everything a family would need

Posted 07-Jul-2014
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and had a very comfortable stay. Two bathrooms, one with a small bath perfect for bathing the kids, two comfortable queen beds, a full kitchen and adequate seating for 4 in the lounge area. The apartment is serviced daily which is also a bonus compared to other similar places we have stayed in in other cities. The only downside is the construction taking place next door which will cut the lovely views over the suburb - especially from the higher floors. Getting around would be difficult without a car however the hotel is conveniently located a short distance to Canberra central shopping centre and the Cbd . We were not charged extra for parking which was a great bonus also. All in all we found the hotel to be great value for money and we would consider returning in the future.

Home away from home

Posted 03-Jul-2014
Pros: Close to the city. Spacious room. Very clean. Loved the individual temperature control in the room, especially since we stayed in winter.
Cons: We had a construction site view from our room...cannot be helped but at least it was not noisy. Non-stick pans and sharpened knives would be better...
Location: It's close to the city centre..4-5 minutes drive
We had a lovely 4-day break at the hotel. It was nice to be able to feel at home with all the amenities needed. The kitchen was much appreciated. There is plenty of room to move around. Loved the balcony. Will definitely come back here for another stay. Much better value for money than other hotels around.

Overnight Business

Posted 21-Jun-2014
Pros: Clean, fully self contained, location, large rooms, underfloor heating in bathrooms, free undercover parking
Cons: Limited parking bay availability at time of checkin
Location: Short walk center of Canberra. Public transport bus stop very close by.
Have stayed at Clifton Suites many times and which is recommendation in itself. The suites are large, self contained with underfloor heating in the bathrooms which is great in winter. There is plenty of free undercover parking and the staff are always on duty and very helpful. The accommodation is always excellent value when compared to others in similar location. Overall highly recommended.

Nice apartment with a very well equipped kitchen

Posted 19-Jun-2014
Very quiet and spacious apartment. Perfect for its cleanliness and kitchen - there's even a dishwasher & built in oven. Being able to do some cooking is critical as there's nothing much happening after 5pm in Canberra. Sleep quality is good and staff are courteous and prompt. Recommended for family with young kids.
