“Ok but service lacking”

The apartment was good though road noise was an issue. We asked for house keeping to be done several times as it was only done on day 1 of 4 and never again after that. Pretty poor really. We ran out of dishwasher powder as a result. There were also 2 blown light globes that we reported - the guy came and looked at them, said he would come back and we never saw him again.

“Capital Breakfree - good family accommodation”

Slightly outdated rooms and furniture, but the 3 bedder had plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen - making it perfect for a family with older kids. The staff were efficient and friendly and the location is very central. My only complaint is that despite being an apartment for 6 there's not enough hot water for everyone to have a shower in the morning without a 30 minute wait for the boiler to catch up.

“Capital Tower, capital stay.”

The Breakfree Capital Tower is located overlooking Lake Burley Griffin and provides managed apartments that are excellent for families looking for a short stay in the heart of Canberra. The two bedroom apartments are clean and well maintained with a small but well appointed kitchen which allows families to cook meals, thus saving money for the many of Canberra's tourist attractions. During warmer stays there is a swimming pool or tennis courts. A small gym provides for those who like to work off the tension of a long day of touring with some exercise. The daily rates compare well with other hotel stays especially for accommodating 4-5 people for 1-3 nights. I have stayed twice at this facility along with our overseas guests with each commenting favourably on their stay and certainly would recommend the Breakfree Capital Tower to all potential visitors to Canberra.
