We had a passport problem that delayed us leaving the country. We came here to stay, while we sorted it out. The Melia staff, to a person, were incredibly kind, helpful, and went out of their way to help us have both a pleasant stay, and even get information, from the government, about the hours for offices, information on where we needed to go, as some addresses provided on paperwork were wrong, etc. I had a previous stay, in Cuba, several years ago, where we arrived to a hotel that was shuttered due to Hurricane Maria. Melia, there, helped us navigate how to switch hotels without having to go home. It was why I booked this one. I was not disappointed. Excellence in service is a brand thing, at Melia. I am so appreciative of the kindness, and professionalism of the staff at Melia Hotels that I will now make a point of staying at them, if they’re in cities where I’m traveling.

Poor service and rude concierge
The service was disappointing, especially the room service. They forgot to bring items I had ordered and didn’t fix the issue until 30 min later. The concierge I did the check out with was plain rude. They were charging me for the stay, which I had already paid upfront, and he didn’t believe me saying I had to pay the whole thing. I told him 3 times that I had already paid that. I asked him to look into it and with a 1 min phone call he got the confirmation my stay had been paid upfront. He didn’t apologize and continued to be rude. It was a weird and unexpected experience.

Staff was really nice and helpful. However, I was unlucky to be placed in a room next to very lousy and obnoxious guests who turned my stay into a nightmare, preventing me from sleeping. I complained many times, but the staff couldn't convince the guests to be quiet as demands hotel rules, law, and general regulation. I had to leave the hotel and go somewhere else to rest. Very disappointed and appalled.

Caro pelo que oferece
Hospedo-me em vários hoteis, mensalmente. Na minha opinião, o nível da estrutura não confere com um 4 estrelas, como diz no site. Pelo alto preço que cobram deveria estar em um nível superior; há opções bem melhores por menos, em Campinas e região. O banheiro é apertado, vc tem que ficar dividindo espaço com a abertura da porta; a TV pequena de 27", cujo cabo só funcionava um ou outro canal. Apesar de estarmos em pandemia, na academia, por exemplo, não havia sequer um halter, colchonete ou mosquetões das barras, ou seja, ela está praticamente de enfeite e só pode agendar das 07h às 10h (quem consegue treinar só à noite, não treina). No café da manhã, você tem de olhar o produtos à distância de até 2m, ir pedindo o que quer e a quantidade ao garçom (assim como o frigobar fica desabastecido no quarto); prefiro mil vezes buffet self-service, com as luvas e máscaras, pois pego o que me agrada, na quantidade ideal para mim. Obs.: o café com leite você mesmo se serve, então, não faz muito sentido o garçom servir o restante... os ovos mexidos estavam frios, pois o ar condicionado estava bem gelado no restaurante. Estacionamento a parte, de R$ 30,00. Prós: Piscina externa climatizada muitíssimo boa, wi-fi estável e funcionários atenciosíssimos.

This is probably the nicest hotel I've found in Campinas, and since i travel there on business a lot, it's safe to say I've tried most of the upscale ones. It's also close to some of the best restaurants in Campinas and the local nightlife.

If the gym is important, reconsider!
It was a good experience. My only complaints are the following: (1) Dinner starts late in the restaurant. (2) The fitness center often gets overwhelmed with kids and adults that should not be there. There is no privacy for changing there even though there are changing rooms. It's a bit under-attended to - the whole idea of fitness. There are no towels or cups for water in the fitness center. If it's raining, you will get wet going from the hotel to the fitness center. There is very little equipment and machines as well. Aside from that, really no complaints. I would recommend it.

Staff...Staff...Staff
I have been staying at the Melia Hotel for move than 8 years, even before Melia purchased the property. It is clean, conveniently located with the most amazing staff. The one shortcoming of the property, clean but outdated rooms is overcome by the quality of the Melia Staff. If I could recommend one improvement it would be to update the rooms especially the bathroom and possibly the furniture. With the quality of service and location a room facelift would make it a 5-star hotel.

Best hotel in Campinas

Perfect for a business trip
This property was in a great location for a one week stay in Campinas. Taxi service is available each morning right outside the property.
