We had a great experience here! It was close to the venue we were attending, which was very important. The surrounding area was not the greatest area, but I felt safe in the hotel regardless. The beds were quite comfortable, and they provided us with extra blankets, which was wonderful. My one complaint is that we asked for a non-smoking room, but our room smelled smoky when we arrived. The staff were very polite and helped us with everything that we needed.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The pillows weren't that great, but not bad. If you are visiting Andrew's AFB it is directly across street from main gate and super close to 95. One down side I noticed on other reviews was the lack of "soundproofing", but it could be worse. Yes you can hear other doors in hall when they slam shut-but to me it wasn't that big a deal. The continental breakfast was great, basic, but good. LOVED the fact I could make my own waffles-which were delicious. I will definitely stay here again when I am down to visit my brother in military.
Rooms were clean and well maintained. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I stayed 2 days and was surprised the hotel did not change sheets or towels during my stay. The wi-fi was acceptable, but could be faster. Breakfast was inconsistent. First day they had no eggs and only biscuits with gravy and potatoes. Next day they had eggs and sausage. Not sure how the hotel decides what to serve.

Arrived a little early asked about early check in was told no.returned at 2am to once again being told I couldn't check in when I asked why not I was told check in is at 3pm.I informed them that my intererary says 2pm but was told that they didn't have anything to do with that. Then on the second night after I had already paid for two night up front on the second night my key card didn't work.
Good clean room with everything working, except the batteries for the TV remote died, but that was minor. Breakfast was adequate with toast, cereal, oatmeal & coffee available every day Only thing that changed were the pastries, switching from 2 types.
Home to the President's plane, Air Force One, at Andrews Air Force Base, Camp Springs is mostly a bedroom community for government workers commuting to Washington, DC. The DC subway has a stop here, making the commute relatively easy. Drivers use the nearby Capital Beltway to get to the nation's capital.
