The Hotel is clean. It's close to the airport. The staff here is very friendly, there are only a few members of the staff that speak English so if you don't know Portuguese or at least Spanish you may have a problem understanding. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that there is only one restaurant in this Hotel, and no restaurants worth visiting within walking distance. So if you are a picky eater come prepared with snacks. The Hotel has free WiFi which at times gives a bit of a problem with the connection but overall you are still able to log on and conduct business as needed. There is complimentary breakfast, which again I did not enjoy, but that's only because I don't eat pork, and powdered eggs. You can order regular eggs, but because of the language barrier I wasn't able to communicate effectively what I wanted. I would recommend this to a friend because it is clean and cost effective.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by name. I was immediately made to feel welcome by the front desk staff. I arrived early, but the front desk person said they were just finishing getting the room prepared and would I mind waiting a few moments. I waited long enough to get familiar with the wi-fi(free) in the hotel and they had the room ready. I believe they gave me the best room in the hotel! Absolutely great! Everything they said it was going to be. If there is one negative, I would say I would have liked larger windows for the beautiful view, but other than that, the room, adjoining sitting area and bath were all sparkling clean and pleasant.
The hotel itself is quite clean, but I have to mention the hallways and elevator area- they were not as clean as the room. The coffee area and breakfast was adequate. Checkout was easy, quick, professional and friendly.
I would give the hotel 4 stars out of five only for the lack of cleanliness in the hallways, but I would definitely give the staff five stars and it is because of my experience with them that I would definitely return.

We arrived at the Ibis at about midday, thinking it would be too early to be checked in, however were given a room right away. When we got to our room it had not been cleaned after the last person checked out so they did this for us right away.
We didn´t use many of the hotels facilities, just the room really.
The staff were friendly, however, the checkin process took some time, but having stayed at a few hotels in Brazil now, I think this may be the norm.
The location was great, right opposite the beach and within walking distance to numerous restaurants and bars.
The rooms were fairly small, we were just there for one night and were visiting friends, so were not in the room much at all so was not really an issue, but probably not the best room option (we had the cheapest room, not sure if other room types are bigger) if you have an extended stay.
