“Excellent hotel”

Stayed 1 night on a dinner inclusive package. The room was large and well furnished. Having a bath and seperate shower was a bonus. The surrounding area was a housing estate but we did not stop to look further as we went there to visit Cambridge. About 10 minutes drive to park and ride then about 15 mins to Cambridge. Excellent swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Only criticism was the quality of evening meal, was not very good but acceptable. Had to send my fish back first time as it was only partly cooked, but they provided a replacement without any fuss. Also the menu was uninspiring. I would go again but would probably eat out.

“Comfortable Hotel - Friendly Staff”

We enjoyed a short break here. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Close to Cambridge and A14/M11 links.

“reasonable hotel”

the hotel is more modern than expected and further away from Cambridge than expected. However, bus to Cambridge is easy and park and ride is good. If you have a car (necessary for this hotel) then there are lots of nice villages and pubs and restrauants nearby. The hotel was adequate. Not Brilliant. value for money at a special rate was OK. anything more expensive would have made it poor. Staff were helpful as possible. Food OK. Bed was small (small double) no bigger ones available. room size not big but OK.

“Very satisfied”

My parents (80's) and I stayed here for a wedding nearby. The stay was very pleasant, convenient and straight forward. The hotel was well appointed, rooms large and clean with everything working perfectly. The main thing that impressed was the friendliness of the staff, very efficient but nice to have staff that chat to you as well! The leisure complex was excellent - one of the best in a hotel that I've stayed at. Overall very pleased and would recommend.

If you are staying here for Cambridge shopping then I'd suggest using "Park and Ride" when you near Cambridge to avoid city parking.

“comfortable hotel but some way from cambridge city centre”

Comfortable and modern if somewhat impersonal hotel located quite some way from Cambridge city centre. Close to one of the main trunk routes into Cambridge and in a quiet location, it has nice facilties and provided a good, inclusive breakfast.

“Location, location, location”

I would never return if any other hotel were available in the area. Poor welcome, very poor room service. WIFi is charged when other hotels across the world offer it for free; this is an essential service for the business traveler, yet limited access and expensive hourly charge. Good breakfast. Great location near to Cambridge.
