Pros: Excellent facilities
Cons: Look up at the noise...
Location: Ver good and close to centre
It was overall very good however early Sunday morning it got noisy. It appeared to emanate from pipes.

Good hotel with spa facilities

Posted 14-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
Friendly hotel based on the outskirts of Peterborough. Staff were friendly, rooms adequate and clean. Pool/spa facilities small but met my needs. You do need a car to get into Peterborough (you cant walk) as right next to dual carriageway, but it isnt noisey as set back. Breakfast very good alot better than I would of anticipated. Would book again if found myself in the area.

We needed this hotel for an overnight stay. Very reasonable price. Comfortable, but beginning to look a bit dated. Staff lovely. Slept very well.

Overall very comfortable.

Hotel was very comfortable. Leisure facilities enabled us to have a comfortable dip in the pool followed by sauna and steam room. Room was very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights there.

A travellers stop

Posted 16-Sep-2013
Pros: Staff friendliness and helpfulness
Cons: Free WIFI
Location: Peterborough Cathedral, visit Cambridge and Imperial WarMusuem -Aviation at Duxford
Handy stopping point to catch up with friends before we arrived back in London. Facilities were great, Annoyed at no free WIF and PDS15 charge for it. Holiday Inn needs to catch up with the times. breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly.Rooom was a little stuffy.

A great place to stay when attending Burghley

Posted 10-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
Overall it was good, although the food was only average - but not as bad as the nearby pub the Woodman, The only complaint was no free WiFi which must become the norm in the near future. It's proximity to Burghley was great so we would consider staying there, and hopefully have time to use the pool and/or gym this time.
