The only thing that let our stay down was the miserable receptionist that was working when we booked in. She wouldnt make eye contact, had no smile and was generally very miserable. Otherwise all was very good.

Great value! The hotel's got a beautiful lobby and great facilities, including a pool and gym. The staff was polite and the rooms comfy and clean. Also, they offer 24-hour room service. It's great for families and, although there's nothing to do around the hotel, central Cambridge is a 15min drive away. We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel, I would totally recommend.

Had a fantastic time staff were amazing could not fault anyone they all were so helpful and pleasant. The pool was a bonus yes changing rooms could do with an upgrade but didn't spoil our enjoyment did not get chance to use the gym but will come prepared next visit. Food in Restaurant was tasty and well presented had some lovely cocktails in bar area very good. Breakfast delivered plenty of choice and staff filled up regular certainly left with full contented tummys . Plenty of car parking spaces and felt my car was safe and secure. Thank you to all the staff team you were all great.

The bedroom was nice and a good size, however the bathroom felt unclean. There were hairs in the sink and the floor was dirty. The extractor fan didn't work and when I looked at it I could see why, it was disgusting. The bath matt had also been put in upside down, which isn't an issue but does goes to show the effort put into making it look presentable. The bar and restaurant areas were clean and presentable, if not a little chilly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The "spa" area was nothing more than a sauna and steam room next to an average, swimming pool and the whole area including changing rooms could really use some TLC, it looked very run down.

Very comfortable and spacious family room, swimming pool was a good size. Great buffet breakfast! We love this hotel as a great jumping off point for days out in the area.

Enjoyed our stay, great breakfast, warm confortable rooms, close to park and ride for cambridge. All good except for evening meal in bar at night. Paid £15 for a ready meal lasagne worth a fiver max. It was awful!

Gorgeous spa, lovely staff
Always happy to stay at a Holiday Inn. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna, breakfast was lovely and the room was spacious! We were perfectly located for a day out in Cambridge.

Enjoyable stay
A fabulous stay with family over the Christmas break. All the staff were amazing. Amenities in the room were basic, but all were well considered. Breakfast was impressive. We will definitely come back.

We have stayed in this particular hotel many times And I must say I was so impressed by the amazing transformation the hotel was absolutely beautiful. I would like to also add that one particular staff member went above and beyond and was so lovely and helpful offering to help with bags and ordering taxi she even helped me when I overslept and forgot to do the naughty elf she went out of her way to create the magic I think her name was Anna and she worked on reception We will 100% be returning

The swimming pool was very nice, as well as the hotel! The only thing in our room was that it was no extractor in the toilet, so after having showers, the humidity couldn’t go anywhere.

Good, however….
Friendly staff, nice bar area. Well located. Rooms sparse, if I’m paying £175 a night room only. I expect at least a biscuit in the room. Main gripe is the food portions (Very expensive for a standard hotel…(£8 for starter, &18 for a burger, £8 for deserts, £7 a pint) so you shouldn’t still be hungry after 3 courses!

A nice little place. Beds weren’t super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Property is a little tired, but nice staff.

Public area s good, private areas not so
The hotel public areas are very nice and well kept, service was good and the hotel accommodated a last minute change to our booking without any fuss. The private areas (bedrooms/en suite), was very tired and a bit grubby. Grout in the bathroom tiling was old and there was mould around the bathroom sealants etc. The rooms, if not all, but certainly the one we stayed in need a refurb.

Hotel was good for the cost. There is nothing around the hotel so you will need a car. The car park is £5 for the night. The restaurant at the hotel is pricey. Staff not very further coming with information.

Poor customer service complained and no reply !!! Vomit in the hall way , poor decoration , tv didn’t work , food under cooked . Noisy , air con broken Didn’t even ask if our stay was ok at checkout
