“loved this hotel”

room - great - clean and nice deco restaurant - overall nice but did not like the lamb shank i ordered i was expecting it to be falling off the bone and in a rich sauce - too dry for me bar area - had a view of the river and you could also order food here staff were friendly all in all would definitely recommend this hotel

For european standards the room is large, well appointed and had a great view on the Cam. Convenient location. Superb front desk service.

“A hidden gem”

A little difficult to find but well worth it. We arrive early evening after a long haul flight and a drive from Stanstead airport to be greeted at check in by a warm choc chip cookie and helpfull staff. After a quick check in we made our way down to the garden for a relaxing drink and watched the world go by on the Cam. Such serenity after the madness of airports and unfamilar roads! The room was larger than expected and clean and comfortable with a side view of a field. Breakfast choice was vast and the pancake machine was a hit! Can't wait to return.

Extortionate daily parking charges. Other than that dirty pillows and average.

“What you expect in a good quality international hotel.”

It's a relatively expensive hotel but good quality. The room size is generous - the standard international size rather than the smaller rooms common in Britain/Europe. To my eye, the hotel looks tacky and dated from the outside but the interior is much better. Breakfast food and service was very good, and the dining room provides a great view of people punting/cycling/walking along the river. They offer paid in-room internet. I always find it irritating to find an expensive hotel charging (for a fairly poor service at a very poor rate) for internet access when so many other places offer it for free. I think the rate they charge is well out-of-step with current domestic/commercial rates and the speed and download limits do not compare at all well.

“Hard to fault”

We stay at this hotel this time every year and have never been disappointed . Spa is a great bonus . Well run and efficent I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Cambridge .. Expedia rate was outstanding

The hotel was a good location, neat, lovely staff and atmosphere. The meal was excellent, especially the welcome chocolate cookies we were given, mmmmmmmhhhhhhh. I definitely would be visiting again.

this hotel is very close to the cambridge town and market so it helps your sightseeing very well! the atomosphere of this hotel is so cozy and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. especially the doorman/concierge was great! he helped us so many times! your stay in cambridge definetely be confortable :)

“Very central Cambridge hotel”

Very centrally located, excellent for the City centre shops and for walks along the Camb. Pleasant afternoon tea & drinks in the lounge overlooking the river and small but pretty garden. Sadly our room overlooked a large flat roof- no breakfast in cost not even a coffee & muffin, swimming pool very small- didn't bother. Water was dripping from the air con system in the lounge though- a bit off putting- and work going on on the roof of the hotel. Overall a little shabby- 4 stars? Too expensive compared to far higher spec hotels in my opinion. If you need a very central hotel then it is ideal & at a £17 cost you can leave your car in the carpark- however, learn by my mistake and be very particular about the room you stay in- avoid the flat roof view- very ugly. Hilton could do better.
