This hotel was in a great position - close enough to everything in the village but also far enough away to be peaceful. The bedroom was basic but clean and wonderfully quiet. The bed was particularly comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. Breakfast however, spoiled what could have been a perfect stay. Lack of plates, clean tables and some essential items meant days didn't start as carefree as they should. Having said this, we would still recommend the hotel, but possibly on a room only basis. We did not use the spa facilities so cannot comment on these.

We had a hotel cancellation, so got a room in this hotel on very late notice. The service was good and receptionist spoke English well. Overall our room was good value for money, but it smelled of cigarette smoke.
We were looking for a locals perspective and we got it. Arrived from a hectic week in Paris, sat under the vine covered "arbor" with a glass of wine. And a cheese plate...total stress relief. Rooms are typical European size, clean, comfortable; this hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, staff knows you and go out of their way to be helpful, extremely quiet...about 15 minutes from colosseum. Food is excellent....this is how regular French people live, you will love it.

Stayed at the Kyriad for 4 nights with colleagues and it's a mixed experience really. The outside of the hotel looks a bit Stalag 17, it's right next to a main road on an industrial estate (yep, should have google mapped it) but it's not all bad. The rooms have been refurbished (you can still smell the new paint) and whilst small (lets be positive, cosy) they are very clean, tidy, redecorated throughout and similar to a Premier Inn in the UK. As a budget hotel for a couple of nights it's fine. Don't think you'll be sitting outside the hotel enjoying any wine or ambience as there's no bar, and the road noise will put paid to the ambience. But your not bothered by road noise in the room luckily. There is a buffallo grill next door which is handy if you like your meat escaping off the plate (for well done read raw! and thats beef and salmon! Couldn't find many places to eat in Arles (still a bit early in March) but if you have a car try Chez Tony's Italian in St Giles (15mins away, and he's Russian but what the heck) it's by the river, very quaint, good food (has a pizza oven) and go to St Martin de Crau for their market (colleague said it was half a mile long and on a Friday when we visited but it could be other days also. Other than that it was all work and no play......doh!
This hotel was conveniently located just off the Main Avenue, across the street from the Tourist Info Centre. All the attractions and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Getting out of town to Nimes and Avignon were a breeze. Free WIFI as well.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff made us feel very welcome and provided us with good information about restaurants. Both were great. This is like a motel, outside of the city, but within a five minute drive with free parking at the city gates. Breakfast was very good. We didn;t use the pool, but it looked very nice.

The Ibis is clean and comfortable and great if you are on a budget. Restaurant was excellent, very good value with more vegetarian choices than other places we stayed in France! Staff were very nice and spoke English when our French let us down. We had a very enjoyable stay with no problems. Only downsides there was no mini-bar and no "do not disturb" sign so the maid kept coming in before we were ready. Also the outside pool does not open until 10 so no early morning dips!
