The hotel is up a hill overlooking the beach and sea. It's a 5 minute walk down some stairs to get onto the beach. It is fully equipped with everything you need in regards to a kitchenette. The bathroom is very good. I was surprised it was only two stars because it seems to me at least 3. It was very in-expensive too. It's not a hotel, it's a rental residence. It's ideal if you want to cook your own food. If you want a hotel for all the amenities they provide, this would not be the place for you. Be sure to check when reception is open for your check-in because they keep intermittent hours.

Great hotel, with excellent location and ambiance. Excellent alternative as a base to explore the D Day sites. Fantastic price-quaility ratio. Cabourg is a quiet, sunny town, with a great French savoir vivre.
Great hotel. Very grand. Not the cheapest place to stay, eat and drink, but worth every penny. Shame the wife didnt allow me a game of golf ! Brilliant rooms, nice pool and friendly service. Definately will go back.
An incredibly beautiful seaside location and fantastic facilities. We enjoyed the swimming pool, spa, steam bath and activities and the local town. Fantastic French food and shopping. We will come back for a visit again!!
I was delayed and wouldn't arrive at the hotel until after 10:00pm. I had not had dinner and called to see if they had a restaurant and if it would be open when I arrived. They informed me that it would be closed at 10:00pm but they would have a salad for me when I arrived. After I checked in they brought a fantastic salad to my room that far exceeded my expectations. Also, I am an "only English" speaking visitor. The hotel staff went above beyond to help me with taxi's, trains and taking care of my bags. They went above and beyond. I stayed in multiple hotels in my week in Europe and this was the best experience of all of them One of my hotels was a 5 star and Novatel was far superior.
