“When the reception is closed, it could be difficult to sort out problems”
It was our third/fourth time to stay and we have been happy with the location, cleanness, comfort, breakfast and the value for money. However, as we arrived at the apartmenthotel at 10pm after the reception closing time and there wasn't anyone answering the telephone, we had to use our bathroom without the light on. In the small hours, somebody was shinning a light (bright enough to wake me) to our 3rd floor room and I heard a noise like a window being tried open. It could have been local kids messing about in the building site next door but I didn't sleep very well. Nevertheless, we would go back as we think it was a one off minor trouble.
“Bargain hotel in convenient location”
This was a simple hotel room which served our purpose of walking to the centre of Caen. The breakfast was excellent at 7.50 euros and the cost of the room good value. It is on the way into Caen from the ferry, easy to find with loads of free parking.
“Excellent hotel if visiting the Normandy Beaches”
This is a very new hotel less than 9 months lod when we stayed, The room was well laid out , it had a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave oven small electric hob, electric kettle and sufficient cups etc to be able to have tea or coffee when ever we wanted. Room Service is extra as it is an apartment hotel, we managed to survive 5 days just doing our own thing, " small supermarkets within 5 mins walk and 10 mins walk to the centre of Caen, Caen has lots of wonderful churches and museums to visit plus of course it is very near the WW2 beaches which are very easy to find and visit, We would stay here again if we were to return to Caen, very easy to find with a sat nav and safe car parking as well. Excellent value for money
“confortable aprtment”
good location, walking distance to the city centre yet in a quiet residential area (building site outside our window, but no noise as it was holiday time.) whole building is clean , friendly staff, ample car parking space You need to get access codes if you are arriving outside their office hours.
“Great value place to stay in Caen”
A good base to stay in Caen, free parking, very good value accomodation, would definitely stay again, but would skip the breakfast, which was the only negative point. Staff were very friendly and obliging.
“Excellent budget option in Caen”
We booked these apartments in Caen after a number of more expensive hotels we tried were fully booked (we booked very late). We were extremely impressed at the quality of accommodation for the price. We had a studio apartment and it was spotlessly clean and looked almost brand new. Very quiet and very friendly staff. You can buy breakfast for 7 euros per person but we made our own breakfast in the studio, which had a small but well equipped and very clean modern little kitchen. There is a good wee supermarket round the corner from the apartments where you can buy breakfast goodies - baguette, jambon de bayonne...!! About 15 minutes walk into Caen centre. I would definitely stay in these apartments again and would consider the chain in other French towns.
“Hôtel pratique”
Hôtel pratique, pas très loin du centre et de l'Abbaye. Très bonne réception, serviable et courtoise. Au calme... Grand calme... On entend les mouettes.... Moment douceur et poésie. Calme et volupté.
“Trip Normandie”
Très propre, accueil sympathique, vaisselle neuve, lits confortables
“Sehr ruhige aber trotzdem verkehrsgünstige Lage, netter Service”
Das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig und trotzdem extrem ruhig in einem Wohngebiet. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Icxh kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.
