On our 10 day trip around France, this hotel was our first stop. We stayed 2 nights. The area is wonderful. Lots to see within walking distance and great dining options. The room we had was spacious. Personally, there was not enough light in the room. Definitely needs higher wattage bulbs or at least a few more lamps in the room. One of staff was not very pleasant and we avoided asking her for anything. That was a bit uncomfortable.

LaPecherie, Manifique !
The hotel La Pecherie was a great experience. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful even though there was a slight language barrier. The went above and beyond every request, full filling all of my travel needs. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, with a really interesting mix of decor. It was a great location, one block from Juno Beach and was centrally located for sightseeing. The food at the hotel restaurant was outstanding, certainly one of the highlight meals of my entire trip !

Very nice room, maybe a little overpriced, but nice. Very helpful English speaking young lady on front desk. Be aware most staff don’t speak English, which obviously shouldn’t normally be an issue in France (we should speak French etc) but in the area it is, I suspect they get many English speaking visitors, so could be potential issue especially in restaurant. Had terrible steak, asked for medium rare, came almost raw, stone cold in middle, sent back to be cooked little more, and was still not much better, couldn’t eat it. Having said that everyone else’s food looked lovely, so moral of story if you having steak ask for well done. Despite that, La Pecherie looked far the best place to stay in Courselles.

this is an attractive hotel with an inspired decor. The hotel and room were a comfortable size and very clean. The staff were very helpful with my needs and patient with my language limitations. The location is very convenient with access to markets and the Juno beach centre. The seafood in this town is amazing.

Amazing hotel
Wonderful hotel and staff, the room we had was perfect for 2 and I loved not having a key card! The pin code style locks were awesome. Free filtered water in the room and I like how there was a door between the foyer and the sleeping area if for some reason it was loud in the hall (it never was). Highly recommend

Courseulles sur Mer, Normandy "not to be missed".
Courseulles sur Mer is an amazing location on the Normandy Coast to visit. The locals love to host and the food and accommodations are excellent. The seafood is 5 Star. The historical significance (D-Day landings 1944) with Canada's Juno Beach Centre is a must visit! In season or off, the beaches cannot be beat and the ocean pram-anode makes for an excellent walk. I visit Courseulles sur Mer and the surrounding area each time my travels take me to France.

Nice boutique style hotel
This hotel is right in the center of Juno beach, has a great restaurant (closes around 9-10). We could see the beach from our room, there was a bar nearby for late night drinks (some volume, but it didn't keep us up). All the rooms have punch codes so you don't have to worry about a key. The reception area closes with the restaurant so you need to be checked in before 10, but there is a back entrance with a code so you can access the rooms any time. Great spot to stay, would stay here again!

Upgraded
We were originally booked to stay in the annexe, but on arrival we were very kindly offered to stay in the main hotel where the rooms would normally be more expensive. The rooms were recently refurbed (with themed decor of interesting objects!) and very spacious and comfortable. Although we were there for only one night we had a lovely time - thank you very much for your hospitality

Great place. Near ocean. Beautiful details in rooms. Very attentive owner and staff. Mostly fish served at restaurants. Wifi was weak on third floor. I had to go down in restaurant area. Staff leaves at night. Easy to drive to Utah beach a b d omaha. Juno beach exhibit is across the street. Comfortable beds and rooms.

Beautiful hotel
We booked a room with a double bed and when we arrived we were delighted to discover that our room was actually a home located within 100 yards from the hotel that could very comfortably sleep a family of 5 with a queen size bed on the main floor and a loft upstairs with a double bed and a single bed. Interior design was done very well and location was perfect. The restaurant has exquisite food and the service at the hotel was good. The owner is a little gruff but the staff were exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The price for the value we received was superb!

A Gem
Situated within 500 meters of Juno Beach you might think the location alone would ensure a steady clientele and the staff might be inclined to let things slide but here, not a bit of it. The standards set by the manager are high and the staff work hard to meet them. It quite simply is well run and very a very pleasant experience indeed. The rooms are modern with good facilities and the food is quite simply outstanding. What a gem!

Nice little hotel
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, Its in a lovely little town ideal for the Normandy coast and Museums, Our ferry was an afternoon crossing so we didn't arrive until 11pm in the rain, The hotel manager was there to welcome us and show us to our rooms which was well appreciated at that time of night, Room was a nice surprise on the top floor of Le Manoir d'à Coté, We had E-mailed for a large bathroom and had an instant reply to confirm our request, The food at "La Pechene" was absolutely delicious, we did take tea making facilities with us but this was only a minor point that its not available in the rooms , as most French don't drink Tea, A lovely 4 day stay at this hotel and would certainly recommend it to friends,

Loved it!
We had a super time here. Super room, new, fresh, bright, clean, with modern fixtures and fun decorations. We had a hard time finding the little separate building we were booked in, but were extremely happy with the room once we found it. The parking spots were full but we found one nearby on the street. The beach is a short walk away. Great breakfast with delicious croissants. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing fishy about this hotel!
La Pecherie is a little gem of a hotel situated close to the beach front in Courseulles-Sur-Mer. We stayed in the property around the corner known as Le Manoir which offered private parking and beautifully appointed rooms. My only issue was that the lack of stair carpets made going up and down stairs a noisy experience for all the other guests given that we were on the top floor. Courseulles-Sur-Mer is a nice little resort, fairly quiet when we visited in early June but no doubt much busier in July/August. We had dinner in Le Pecherie one night and it was fabulous, I would highly recommend it.

Huge disappointment
Expedia has property listed as in Bayeux. It was actually a 45 euro cab ride away into the countryside. In prior e-mail communication with owner, regarding D Day invasion tours, I was told information would be supplied upon arrival. When I arrived, I was told tourism season was over. No tours available. I could rent a bicycle and make a 10 mile ride to site. Additionally...upon arrival, I learned that custom in this town of Courseulles-sur-Mer, is to not offer any access to food and drink services between after breakfast and begin dinner. Even though hotel has restaurant...I couldn't get a cup of coffee, or anything to eat from my 2pm arrival, until 7pm that night. I appealed to owner to let me out of second night reservation. That did not happen. I left early following morning, at great expense and inconvenience.

Fabulous, boutique style room.
The room we stayed in was in the annexe to the hotel which has been converted from an old Normandy house.. Each room has a name - ours was Coté Jardin. It is a very large room with a large double bed and a sofa - which would also make into a bed. The bathroom was spectacular and spotlessly clean. Outside there is a garden and patio with seating and lighting and to the front of the property, free parking with video surveillance. Fast and free wi-fi just topped off an excellent stay.

Nice décor but lacking in basic facilities
We were checked into the hotel by a nice man whose English was good (and therefore made up for our poor French). Our room was in a house adjacent to the main hotel, with parking at the door. The house appeared to have been newly renovated with modern, smart décor. Our room was bright and airy, but the toilet and separate wet-room/basin area were tiny. The toilet was so small that I was able to sit on the loo and rest my nose on the wall in front of me. The lights in the toilet, and the shower area were on timers so I was plunged into darkness if I stayed in the loo for more than 30 secs. The hotel (about 5 mins walk away) had a very nice restaurant which is were we ate on our first evening. We had a delicious meal, but I then vomited for the next 24 hours (I don't know that the illness was caused by the meal, but I did have fish soup so suspected that the meal may have been the cause). I was up in the night vomiting but the toilet was so small that I had to have the door open in order to access the toilet bowl - and the light switched itself off every so often during my plight. We had booked to eat in the restaurant the following night, but cancelled our reservation. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in our room which was have been most welcome as we were unable to make ourselves a drink in the morning.

Class hotel situated ideally in Courselles-sur-Mer
Husband and wife, early 60s. Week's break. The main part of the hotel is on the main street but we stayed in the annex which is abiout 200m away down a quiet street. Plenty of off-street parking and quiet. Definitely would stay in the annex again (but havn't seen rooms in main part). But, as is common with so-called boutique hotels, the room we had (Balcon) was very small, toilet was the smallest I've ever been in. Also, bare wooden floors (painted lovely grey) made for noisy footsteps in hallway, stairs and rooms above. Sound proofing between our room and next door (via adjoining door) was poor. But, for all that, it didn't actually impact our sleep (matresses were great). Probably due to consideration of other guests. But with noisy guests you may have not sleep so well. Food in main restaurant was superb (we ate there three times). But we avoided breakfast at 12 Euros each and just had a coffee and croissant elsewhere for 5 Euros each (that's all we wanted).

Great stay, friendly staff the 2 rooms we had 1 in the top of the Manior anex was great. Top quality resturant though not cheap. Only thing missing for a Brit is no tea/coffe or kettles in the rooms
