“Good budget hotel”

Good budget hotel situated a pleasant 15 minute walk from the town centre and its bars and restaurants For a late night drink visit the Albatros on the quayside, not cheap but lively, friendly and fun

Head for the old port and you wont be dissapointed

“All we wanted!”

We stayed in Honfleur for just 4 days and the Kyriad was a great base. It was a 15 minute walk into the centre along a tree-lined road - plenty of interest along the road, and perfectly safe late at night. This is a basic hotel providing a double/twin room with bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. It was clean and comfortable. We didnt make use of the restaurant, but it looked very good and always seemed to be busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and also spoke English. There is a large carpark, and a garden. I would certainly stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone needing a base for the town.

Area recommendations
Honfleur is a small port town, filled with fascinating streets full of art shops and restaurants. There are historic buildings to be discovered, a beautiful beach a short walk away, and a magnificent park. I found it to be extremely friendly and relaxing.
When to go
We went just out of season (October 20) and had brilliant weather. It wasn't crowded, although on a Saturday and Sunday there are weekenders and day trippers.
Shopping
We found the shops quite expensive, but you have to remember that the majority of quality shops are art studios selling original paintings and sculptures.
Dining
There are numerous restaurants - if you stayed there for a month you would be hard-pressed to use each of them once! Fish features largely on the menus, although there are a couple of Italian restaurants.
Outdoors or beach
The beach is 20 minutes walk from the main town, or a 2minute car ride. It is a very natural beach with sand dunes, overlooking Le Havre port. Swimming is forbidden. Out of season it is a beautiful walk.

“will be back”

Comfortable room, kept very clean. Free car parking. Ideal situation for traveling to and from other coastal towns in the area. Within walking distance of town center which has a very pretty harbour. Breakfast menu a little expensive for what was on offer, but Dinner menu very good value. Definitively be added to my 'return to' list.

Area recommendations
The town center and area around the harbour is very interesting and picturesque, but be careful with the cobbled streets, they can be slippy and difficult to walk on.

“se rendre à pieds au centre de Honfleur.”

L'hôtel dispose d'un parking, et d'un restaurant. Situé à 15 minutes à pieds du centre de Honfleur, il est agréable de se rendre au centre à pieds.
