Good hotel location for Normandy exploration.

Posted 26-Sep-2014
Pros: Very clean and comfortable.
Cons: More towels and washcloths in bathroom.
Location: Restaurants nearby offer excellent seafood.
The room we had at this hotel was small but quite comfortable and very clean. Bathroom was small but had nice shower and adequate counter space. Breakfast was good and also very clean. Would stay here again. Also, several restaurants nearby. Great seafood!

Comfortable hotel good location

Posted 04-Jul-2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness and helpful staff
Cons: Would like the ability to make a drink in the room
Location: Central for all the Normandy beaches and for little town
Clean and comfortable despite being basic. Good central location for visiting the sights and for walking into the town. Security was good. I missed the ability to make a cup of tea in the morning and not having anywhere secure to keep valuables but overall very good value for money and I would use it again. The staff were pleasent and helpful.

Stayed for 4 nights with no complaints

Posted 20-Jun-2014
Pros: Fishing trawlers berthed directly outside and it was great to watch the local fishermen. Absolutely no fishy smell either
Beautiful old town but newish hotel. Very handy to the D-Day beaches and museums. Breakfast was great but dinner was not so much. Plenty of local restaurants within walking distance

The hotel was central all of our places to visit.

Posted 07-Oct-2013
Pros: The hotel was modern and inviting and above all clean and well presented. All of the staff were efficient and ensured that we had an excellent stay.
Cons: Nothing really springs to mind.
Location: Our visit primarily was to visit the WW2 D Day landing beaches, however that said it is our intent at some time in the future to visit the area again
As the base for this our first visit to the area the IBIS was just what we required. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to provide information when we asked them for advice. The port provided an added bonus seeing how a busy fishing port is managed in order to complete their business and cause minimum interference to the locals and visitors such as us. All in all a relaxing and pleasurable trip which we would have no hesitation in recommended to friends and family.
