“Good alternative”

This hotel is a good alternative to one in downtown Calgary. It's a short walk to the mall and the C-train station is just 5 minutes away. There's not much going on in the area though if not for the Stampede but going downtown is so easy. The area seems very safe and security at the hotel is good. The room has all the basic amenities including a microwave. However, there is no crockery that you can use. With regard to the bed, I love the many pillows you get, both soft and firmer ones. Breakfast is more than the usual egg, toast and juice. There's a lot of choice and the mixed fruit is absolutely great in the morning. The staff is also very helpful. Definitely a fine place to stay.

“Great value for the money”

Convenient hotel, close to downtown and next to Calgary's LRT. It looked like there was a station just further along the street. Also to any CFL fans, McMahon Stadium is a 5 min walk. Rooms are clean, free breakfast is well stocked and good coffee! Would reccomend.

Fantastic location, C-train accross the street, lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Easy to get to ,right off Trans Canada highway. Excellent morning breakfast, probably best variety I have seen yet. Highly recommend.

Picked it out of several in the same location and very happy with the hotel and it is just a 5 minute walk to the metro. Good breakfast too. Staff quite efficient .

“Ya Hoo for this Hotel!”

Largest room I have had in a long time. Went to the Stampede, park the car in the secure underground garage, and hopped on the train across the street. This is one of a line-up of hotels on the block, just a few resteraunts around, the breakfast was good and the breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful.

Exceeded expectations. Not a fancy hotel downtown but meets the needs of business or family travelers well.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The free breakfast is yummy. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the location isn't the greatest -- unless you need to go to the nearby hospital or university.

“Will be back”

Great room, separate bedroom, full size fridge, two burner cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and all dishes supplied! It was worth the few extra dollars to go for a suite. We were in Calgary for a family wedding and numerous family staying in the area, our room was the meeting up place, worked out great! We could offer snacks etc. Breakfast offered is the best I have experienced in a hotel esp. the large fresh fruit cut-up bow and love those hot waffles!!
