“Nice hotel & nice area...good price too !”

Everything is OK except that we were near the elevator & we can hear people chatting so loudly......but nevertheless everything is OK....nice area location too !

“Comfort”

Great hotel, very comfortable, nice bathroom. The breakfast is not automatically included. If your Expedia reservation says breakfast included, make sure you show the reservation confirmation that says so. They willing provide a voucher after you show them confirmation.

“very nice hotel for the price”

had a mix up when first checking in. They put us in a double when I had booked a king and the room they put us in smelled really bad. They were able to find a king and even upgraded our room for the inconvenience so that was a huge plus. The room they found was very nice and comfortable. The neighbor is nice and has a shopping mall right next door. Hotel was easy to find and right off the freeway. Overall had a very pleasant stay. Would certainly stay again.

“Incredible service!”

The staff was incredible - friendly and attentive. The cook -to-order breakfast was wonderful. The menu was complete and the portions huge! The rooms were perfect. We will definitely be back!

“My Fault”

wow...where to start? Went to a wedding in malibu, and thought i'd stay in calabasas. The Hilton has a nice staff, and a clean hotel. The AC was very loud in our room, and the adjustable bed did my bad back no favors at all (VERY HARD or way too soft). The exercise room was a nice idea but WE all thought it was lacking in equipment. The worst thing of all was coming back to the hotel at 11pm and the parking lot lights were out, not good when city hall's lot lights are on right next door. Overall, this was a bad experience i hope not to repeat any time soon.

“Great Location”

The hotel is located in a very convenient area. It is a short drive to the coast and a short ride to Hollywood, Los Angeles and other nearby attractions. There are several restaurants within walking distance and good shopping nearby. The sleep number control on the bed didn't work and even though we reported it to the management, it was not repaired during the whole 5 days we were there. As a result the mattress was very uncomfortable. Also, the hot water boilers went out one day. One was repaired immediately but guests were asked to limit showers until the other one could be repaired. The hotel overall was a good place to stay. It is clean and well appointed. Breakfast was not included with the room although there is food available in the lobby for an extra fee. However, there are nearby restaurants with less expensive breakfasts.

“Nice stay in Calabasas”

This is a nice hotel in a very nice area. The staff was quite accomodating, and I did have a couple special requests, which they gladly attended to. I will stay there again.

“The first hotel review I've bothered to write...”

There's not much that hasn't already been said - good location, clean and friendly, what you want from a hotel. The only down side, you really need a car to get around. THEN ... I left behind a pair of (pretty expensive) sunglasses. From past experience of leaving stuff in hotels, I didn't expect to see them again. Wrong. The staff tracked them down and sent them express mail back to England. And so far, they haven't charged me. Thank you, Vanessa and the other staff; honesty and service beyond the call of duty. If I was trying to choose between the 622 hotels in Los Angeles, this is the sort of thing that would make my mind up ... you should stay here.

“LARGE PARKING AREA GOOD BREAFAST COMFORTABLE STAY AT HILTON'S QUALITY”

hotel is located in a good area with nearby shopping malls, plazas etc.- a little bit far from the city but if you have a car like we do and considering that the 101 freeway is in a minute's reach then you need not complain about that. Front desk in general was helpful but the room they allocated for us was no good because of the front part of building which was obstructing our view- they changed the room immediately on our request. We stayed 5 nights. Hotel's offering of free parking was delightful for us and indeeed that was one of the reasons for selecting it. The other one was free wi-fi. Other fine points: you can have complimentary coffee in the lobby as well as in your room, although there is a fridge in the room but you can also get ice from the machine in the corridor, a nice breakfast in a very tidy and well organized area next to lobby- a wide range of food, beveages, hot drinks, serving hot and cold breakfast with the help of a courteous waiter at a very good price for the value-so you can't miss! hoping that the quality never goes down- no dinners served but as i mentioned earlier there is a hell lot of good restaurants around so it is not a negative thing. Only negative thing is that the room had no safe deposit- but they have one at the front desk and we used it w/out any problem. All in all it is a nice place to stay and we are longing for coming back!
