“Will be coming back”
Although the hotel is not new, it is in good condition. Nicely located, and great staff. Will come back with my family to a suite (appartment).
“Home away from home”
We love the spaciousness of our suite. We stayed there in 2008 and never considered anywhere else. We used our suite to entertain our Egyptian friends. The Hilton staff catered it and it was terrific. The whole staff was so wonderful.
“Fantastic staff!!!! We had a wonderful time!”
The staff was wonderful! The dining room staff was so friendly and so nice to talk to! We TRULY enjoyed talking to the dining staff at breakfast and dinner!!!!! AND the food was great! Nice atmosphere in the restaurant also. Housekeeping did a beautiful job everyday . The unit was cleaned everyday and spotless, plenty of towels, soap, hot water etc. Room service and dining services called everyday to ask if we needed anything to please call anytime day or night. The reception area staff was delightful also, very friendly. Security was excellent ! Every car, van etc. was checked before they could enter the gate to the hotel. They checked the truck, and also had a bomb sniffing dog go around the car. All in all we hated to leave. We were there 2 weeks and the staff felt like family members! We have many happy memories of our trip to Egypt, and it is the people I met who made the most lasting memories, even over the amazing sights. We are SO HAPPY that we did not cancel our trip because of the events going on at that time . The Egyptian people are so welcoming and friendly.
“Home from home”
The area is undergoing building construction, but the accommodation is pretty soundproof. Housekeeping staff were superb, and anything needed was supplied immediately if not sooner. Due to the lack of tourists breakfast was table service not buffet, but whatever we asked for arrived with a smile and cheerful conversation. It's lovely to relax in a huge appartment complex after a very hot day at the pyramids. The hotel & surrounding area was kept spotless, and very secure with a sniffer dog & guard patrol. This was our third visit, so pretty well knew what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised with the high standards achieved.....lovely holiday.
“In general,a very satisfactory experience”
Only minor problems (example,it took two days to get a bottle opener device)but all the staff is very kind
“Not up to Hilton's usual standard”
This hotel is adequate, but not quite up to the standard one expects of a Hilton. It felt somewhat old and in need of renovations, and basic services one expects nowadays were lacking -- no WiFi or business center. Although the hotel is located along the Nile, it's not exactly in a central location. This wasn't a huge problem, since most of the tourist destinations in Cairo are so spread out that you have to take taxis anyway, but it would have been nice to be in an area with some food or grocery options in the vicinity. On the plus side, the accommodations are very spacious and the rates were good. On the balance, I would recommend the hotel, but warn anyone staying there not to go with high expectations.
“Good for Family stay”
It has 2 rooms. 1st room has 1 king bed. 2nd room has 2 single bed. and a big living room.
“The best for first time visitors to Cairo”
For a first time traveller to Cairo, this place was an absolute haven from the chaos. The suite was very large large (2 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and wings we didn't even explore). It was centrally located in Downtown with views of the Nile and highly recommended by us. Hot water, though, was a challenge on several occassions, but staff did attend to the situation promptly.
“Fantastic suite hotel more space than the average house”
The hotel was super, we had 2 bedrooms, 4 bathroms, massive living room, kitchen and balcony. Nile view bedrom, great food in restaurant-especially mixed mezze and nice pool, thoroughy fine
“Well located in quiet area of Cairo”
Hotel is well located along the Nile in a quiet area of Cairo. Hotel is ok although it's in need of a major facelift. Room was spacious with all the amenities. Pool on the roof provides a well deserved break after a day spent in this crowdy and noisy city.
