We do have a large town map outside of reception on the wall which is the same map we give out a reception - we do encourage our guests to take a photo of this on their phone. Hi Kerry, You booked a 2 bedroom Townhouse apartment with us - it is advised that the Townhouse apartments are on the higher level and that we don't have a lift onsite as we are a small complex, with only 2 levels. Our staff helped you take your luggage up on arrival and advised you to let us know if you need any further assistance. As we were fully booked at the time we were unable to move you to a lower level. Each apartment is equipped with a safe and it is recommended when you travel anywhere to make use of the safe to store any valuables. It is a shame that your apartment was broken into as we have quite a secure complex with access codes for all entrances. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us in the future please read up on the property you are staying at so you know what to expect in the way of accessibility (stairs etc.) Wishing you all the best in your future travels.

Good afternoon Quan,. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay with us here at Getaway. I am glad you found our staff to be friendly and helpful. Our apartments are quite modern, I am unsure of what you mean by 'dated'. We are constantly maintaining our apartments to the standard that so many guests enjoy. We are located about 10 minutes walk from the main 'hub' of town, however we are ideally located on the city fringe to provide our guests with a peaceful stay away from all the noise of nightclubs and restaurants in town. This is also stated on our website with a map of where we are located. In regards to payment being taken at the time of booking, this was a system error and you have our apologies. We take payment 24 hours before arrival and I apologise that we took the payment at the time of booking - this is not our procedure. Thank you for your feed back We are a walk up with no lift and some apartments are up two flights of stairs, which is clearly outlined in booking information Unfortunately, when we get northerly winds, which is around 10% of the time, the planes land form the South, which means they fly straight over the city. We can get a few days in a row of this but the majority of the time they land from the North If you make a booking with an online travel agent and make payment to them, they are the only ones that can issue a receipt, as we only receive a net payment from them

I am very disappointed with your review especially as you left thanking us for a great stay. The air conditioners in the bedrooms are the box type, however they are not old. They work perfectly well and are not overly noisy on the low setting, which is adequate for sleeping and this is reflected in our numerous reviews that make no mention of them.The furniture in the apartments is updated regularly and is not dated. Our photos on our websites are actual and all apartments have identical furnishings and to suggest they are motel style, when the have two ensuted bedrooms, a full laundry with a third toilet, full kitchen and cooking facilities with two balconies is a bit of a stretch
