Overnight stop
We were only there for a quick place to crash before transferring to another hotel near our final destination so we probablyvreally only spent about 12 hours there in total but it was very nice and comfortable with everything you would need for a small family or two couples. Had a beautiful large spanning balcony with seating and a a table as well with views down to the nearby beach. The pool area was welcoming and the gardens throughout were gorgeous! Not much tobdo around within walking distance other than a liquor store and Code which was avery delicious restaurant and bar about 2 blocks away. The guidebook for guests was a little alarming as they stated many things about havong a safe travel making it appear that the area wasnt safe at night. However we walked around and didnt understand the reasoning behing it. Overall it was perfect and i wish we had more time to spend there.

The pool area was lovely. Our unit was quite dated and musty. Very limited supplies (two towels, 1 tea towel, etc). Ruby and Josh were very nice and tried their best.

Was nice. Gardens are beautiful. 8 day stay and their housekeeping says you get mid week housekeeping if stay longer than 7 days. There was no housekeeping. Same towels for 8 days. Washing machine but you had to buy your own powder. Make sure you have your own body wash and shampoo as you only get enough for 2 days. Toilet paper also limited. No mop only mop bucket. Very out of date tiny tv. Worst of all, the wifi is rubbish. It was like going back in time. Continual disconnections. Had to use my phone as a hot spot most of the time for streaming. Not up to 2023 standard at all.

This is a nice propery but as it is in a sleepy neighbourhood of Holloway Beach that it isn't serviced by busses often (hourly) and many excursion (or airport shuttles) don't pick up / drop off there. If you don't have a car, you will have to rely on Uber/ taxi. The beach is across the street and is very nice, and the property has a nice pool. The unit we stayed at had a newly renovated bathroom and the unit itself is comfy and spacious, but it is otherwise a little on the older side and has room for improvement in cleaning (eg sticky cupboards / drawers).

Very pleasant stay for a week. Quiet area, beaches just a few steps away and supported with Cafes and short distance to groceries etc. Gardens are spotless and parking was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be warned if you are staying on higher levels there are no elevators which can be difficult when transporting suitcases but then you are rewarded with great views. I could find the barbecue area but no barbecue. The Internet was patchy and needed constant resetting. The modem was old and would probably solve that issue. The unit was large and user friendly and everything worked despite being a little dated. It was furnished albeit basic but functional. I would come back to this place but recommend you have a car as it is north of Cairns city centre but we liked the area. The lower price reflected this and I recommend staying here especially if you wish to travel further north.

Location, nearby cafes and groceries were all good. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunate things were low toilet paper provided which ran out, no dishwasher tablets, wi-fi was inefficient and couldn't connect, dryer has no external ducting and safety cut-off operated after 5minutes, dishwasher broke down. Minor issues but it did distract from our experience. Would we come back, yes.

We only got to spend one night at this beautiful beach apartment but wished we could stay longer! We had #68 which looked across to the ocean and was lovely and sunny and bright and very clean. Pool was awesome! The cafe across the road had live music and great food and excellent atmosphere. Everything at our doorstep. Perfect. Would definitely stay again

Ruby and her team are so lovely, kind and helpful. The units are fully functional to ensure a comfortable stay and are just across the road from Holloway's Beach for a beautiful early morning walk to start the day. The resort is about a 10 min drive into the CBD for other restaurants and reef charters. Its an ideal, quirt location for a fun and restful holiday.

There are lots of ammenities in this accomodation in an affordable price. The dryer is one of my favourite ammenities. Our room os clean and the area is tranquil. All we can hear in the morning is the birds chirping. The close proximity of the bus stop going to the Downtown also makes it convenient to stay in. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again on our next visit!

This was absolutely perfect accommodation for us (family of 4). Spacious rooms, good washing facilities, beautiful pool, good bbq, opposite stinger protected beach and great cafe, and the kids loved their fantastic selection of DVD's! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!

Great place to stay when you are visiting Cairns. Close enough to be convenient - but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the beach. The apartment (72) was lovely with everything you need for a comfortable visit. Cross the road to the beach to watch the sun rise over the water or just sit on the balcony with your first coffee of the morning. Wayne is very welcoming and knows lots about the local flora and fauna. High recommend this place.

Beautiful location across from the beach. We had a corner unit on the top floor with a wonderful wrap around deck with many seating areas, to relax on, watch the ocean waves and the world go by!

Extremely peaceful, located in a quiet, family neighbourhood right across from the beach. The grounds are lush and impeccably cared for. Rooms very comfortable and well appointed. Naomi and Wayne were incredibly helpful, and we were very well looked after!

It is right across from the beach and we could easily go for a walk. Whilst the bed looked a bit uncomfortable, we were surprised how comfortable it was. The unit is spacious. The carpark is handy. Loved the lush gardens. There is also a book nook if you need some reading material. There were 2 internet connections but both were extremely slow and often dropped out so we couldn't get anything done in the evening or other busy periods. There is also a restaurant / bar across the road. The music was very loud and didn't stop until after 11pm on the Saturday night and at 6pm on the Sunday afternoon. It is also under the flight path for the Cairns airport so it got very noisy. The 1 complimentary soap was the tiniest I have ever seen in all my travels and the bath gel bottles were 3/4 filled. Good size bath but at the upper level, on the Saturday night which was very busy, the hot water was very limited.

Thank you for your review. The restaurant across the road had a 60th birthday function and finished well before the midnight curfew. The same restaurant has a musician that plays on Sunday afternoon from 3.00 pm until 6.00 pm which we find most guest enjoy. As these units are self contained we do supply a starter pack. The soap is for hand washing. We supply bath gel, shampoo, conditioner and body moisturiser. The hot water is a continuous system which supplies 64 litres per minute. As Cairns has mountains on one side all planes fly along the coast to land. Regards, Naomi

Not worth the cost
We had a ground floor apartment that was supposed to have a beach front view. Because it was a ground floor and was very close to the street the property landscaped the area in front with a lot of plants and trees which was very nice but obstructed any view of the beach. If you stood on the far right side of the balcony you could see the beach but that was right in front of the outside air conditioning unit that blew hot air on you so unless it was cool, not ideal. They had spot lights on at night which shone in the apartment. The interior facing rooms overlooking the pool would probably be ok. The condition of the kitchen was less than satisfactory but the redone bathroom was great. The free wifi was almost nonexistent as it was so weak it would cut out continuously and you had to sign back in. I had to do that about ten or fifteen times during our one night stay. Overall the place was not bad but since we only stayed one night the cost of 260 Australian was really way too much for the apartment.

We feel that the price is reasonable for a 1 night stay in a premium apartment especially an apartment that has been fully renovated.
