Absolutely excellent property with a fantastic team. The only (small) downside is that the breakfast is somewhat skewed towards the sweet options (there was not a single tomato to be seen). But that's a small thing. We'll be back

Beautiful Sardinia

For an expensive resort, our rate average about £200 per night, it was okay. The rooms were not turned over every day, towels, bins etc. which I was surprised at for a 4 star place. Everything worked and the place was clean but it's a bit tired looking and the rooms could do with a make over. There is better value for money out there!

Lovely pool Always plenty of sun beds Towels provided that you can also take to beach Pilates and aqua aerobics 3 times a weekend by a great instructor and not in your face if you don’t want to join in Lovely putting green next to the pool Nice play area for the kids Amazing coffee! And good value. Clean and spacious rooms all within a nice distance from pool Lovely food Very helpful staff the booked and gave us advice on restaurants and also things to do, they spoke very good English Walking distance to a lovely little town that has a great community atmosphere at night and lovely restaurants with great food Walking distance to a nice beach (Nora) with toilets and a couple of places to eat I would recommend and stay again

All Staff very welcoming and attentive. Service was excellent at breakfast & dinner. We especially enjoyed the themed dinners and fish bbq. The pool & grounds were exceptionally clean & well attended. It was a beautiful place to stay and very relaxing & tranquil. It was within walking distance of Pula town centre, the beach & the Roman ruins. Would highly recommend this place to stay.

Relaxed hotel set in stunning grounds.
Just returned from a week away. Very relaxed hotel - not crowded. Rooms were clean and comfortable although take a travel kettle if you like a cuppa in the morning. Staff were polite and unintrusive . Food was good but choices limited - there are restaurants nearby. Overall I would recommend this lovely hotel with its beautiful pool .

Relaxing beach holiday stay
We had a one-bed apartment that allowed us to self cater some nights. It was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool area is lovely with plenty of both sun and shade. The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped organise activities and had good recommendations for restaurants. The resort has a lot of mosquitoes, wasps and ants but they don't seem to have a plan to deal with them, or measures in place such as door screens, outside repellant options, regular dusting with ant powder or similar. You can borrow a plug-in mosquito repellent and tablets but it was ineffective.

Nice hotel
Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff and about 10 min walk into town for places to eat. Beach is about 20 but they even have a free shuttle bus, had a great stay, would come back.

Lovely place. Clean, lovely pool and great staff. 10 minutes walk to Pula centre which is a most charming place in the evening with plenty of good places to eat.

Friendly staff, clean room and close to Chia
The staff at Lantana were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The room, and resort generally, was very clean and had great facilities. The resort is also only a short walk (15 minutes) to Pula where there are lovely restaurants and bars. Chia is also a short drive away for some beautiful beaches.

Not really 4-star standards
Located roughly equal distance from the town of Pula and the local beaches (about a 15min walk), our room was basic and ‘rustic’ ... a bit too basic given the 4-star status. The buffet breakfast was also very basic and limited. The only hot food available were scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, and the fruit consisted of large slices of melon and peach halves. But worst of all was the caffe Americano which was undrinkable...even the waitress concurred. On the positive side, there's lot of on-site parking, the reception staff were very helpful, and the pool area was quite nice and relatively peaceful.

I really really liked this hotel. It's laid out around a large garden and pool. Nicely furnished room, comfy bed, with a lovely terrace fronting onto immaculate lawns. All kept spotlessly by the friendly cleaning ladies. A nice, big pòol with enough sunbeds. The restaurant food was tasty with a different choice every night. Shame there wasn't more choice of wines. A short walk to Pula village & shops; Nora beaches 2km. One negative: On arrival, they tried to con me into taking a 1st floor room, indeed when I objected, the receptionist said "it's all we have available". I showed the invoice which clearly stated I'd paid for a room with garden terrace. A miracle - suddenly a garden room was found. In short, I have a message to Management - this was "Naughty" - it left a very bad first impression.

Lantana Resort - An oasis of beauty in Pula
We had an absolutely delightful stay at our Lantana Apartment. The staff were polite, professional and extremely helpful. The whole place was spotless and the grounds were beautifully kept. The photos on the website are exactly as it is. There was obviously a great deal of care and attention given to the upkeep and look of the resort. There is a definite 'family-run' feel about Lantana and the staff are discreet but always on hand and friendly. There is a free shuttle service provided by Lantana Hotel to Pula beach and also to the Pre-Roman/Roman archaeological site which are both in the same location and only half a mile away...or you can do what we did which was to hire a few bikes for the day and take a leisurely cycle to the beach and then later take in the views on the way to the centre where there are plenty of places for a nice cold drink or a meal. We took a train from the airport to Cagliari centre and then a bus from Cagliari centre to Pula (The train station and bus station are located in the same square). The bus is only 3.50 euros each whereas a taxi would cost you about 85 euros. Or you can hire a car at the airport which I would recommend of you are staying for more than a few days as we did. We will definitely be going back again!

Nice laid back hotel and apartments
Small and friendly hotel and apartments, good location walking distance from local town which is pretty and comes to life in the evening, with live music in the square. Friendly staff, nice pool and some activities (pilates, children's pool session with equipment and aqua fit) 3 days a week. Short drive to nice local beaches and worth visiting Nora (Roman remains with good tour and tower jutting out to sea with great views). Hotel food decent but expensive compared to local options.

Beautiful Location
We had a standard room on the ground floor,with a very nice terrace that was shaded from the This meant the room stayed cool,so it was easy to sleep. The bed was very comfortable,but the shower area was a bit small,but adequate. The breakfast could have been a bit more varied,but what we had was tasty. There was a free shuttle to the beach,and you could choose your times to be collected. All in all a very nice place to stay,and would recommend.

Nice hotel
We really liked this hotel, particularly how quiet and peaceful it was. Our apartment was spacious and lovely. My only complaint was that there was only maid service once and the towels were only changed once during our 5 day stay and as there was nowhere to dry them the apartment soon became a bit smelly and musty. The hotel was not cheap and is rated 4 star so I would have expected more frequent towel changes but was told I would have to pay if I wanted fresh towels.

Excellent hotel with well looked after grounds. Tidy pool area and easy access to Pula town center. Very good shaded car ports for your rental car. Rental car beneficial for exploration of nearby bays and beaches. Downsides: Not much to do for kids and a shambolic Wifi connection speed (most likely caused by insufficient broadband speed provided to the hotel as Wifi coverage across the premises is good. 4G data contract with roaming definitely required if you want to stay connected to the world.

P: -Gorgeous surroundings - inside the resort. -Town with vibrant life is in the vicinity. N: -Breakfast: uniformised, same every morning. Could not complain, could not appraise. Bread is, though, great as always in Italy. C: -Staff are not more and not less helpful than needed what I felt being a bit lifeless. -No early breakfast. -In the Room: No functioning WiFi available. No chance to discuss it - no wired internet available as well. -Ants -Extra bed is falling apart -Occasionally noisy kitchen in the middle of the night

Beautiful hotel in perfect location.
Perfect holiday setting with lovely beach nearby ( shuttle provided) and roman ruins to explore. Loved the 10 min evening walks into Pula village square and fabulous dinners and variety of Sardinian life on offer. Been twice now and can't fault hotel or staff or holiday experience. Will return. Weather perfect and sea glorious.

Perfect for families
Great location, short stroll into town (10 mins), and walking distance to beach too (15 mins), great facilities for kids (our 2 year old loved the pool and playground) and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Pula itself is beautiful. We had a fantastic holiday.

A five night stay in September. Our room was overbooked so we were upgraded to a suite on half board as compensation! Excellent attentive staff, good food and a lovely pool and garden. A wine tasting on the last night completed a very relaxing and pleasurable stay at Lantana Resort

Totally relaxing family resort in paradise
This was our first family trip to Sardinia and its was awesome. We originally booked a standard room for 2 adults and 2 children (6 year old and 2 year old) but after raising our concerns about the bed size - the hotel automatically upgraded us to an apartment with a queen bed and double sofa bed and kitchen area. Even before our trip began their customer service has been excellent. We wanted peaceful beautiful views, a large kids and adult pool, excellent food and a clean apartment and that is exactly what we got. The staff gave us mosquito plugs and refills for free for the occasional mosquito and were very flexible with our children's needs. I would recommend this hotel to every family and we are already looking to book at the same resort next year!

Lovely hotel, clean and spacious and great food.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. We were given a room upgrade and complimentary wine for our anniversary so we couldn't have been happier. The hotel grounds and pool are lovely. Beach only 15 mins walk and the town in the evening had lots of restaurants and usually some sort of show in the square.

Can't fault our stay at the Lantana. My wife and I stayed in a double room with two children, 6 and 8 (who slept on a pull out bed and sofa). Staff were helpful, service was good, rooms were clean, outdoor pool was clean. Location is possibly a bit out of the way for some, so a car is useful (unless you like walking or cycling). But otherwise I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Superb hotel with exceptionally courteous staff
The apartments are facilities are well maintained and the pool was perfect offering sun for my wife and ample shade for me. Good choice for breakfast, food of high quality. We ate lunch and dinner at the hotel on a couple of occasions. For this holiday you need a car although the town centre is 15 min walk. Tip, avoid the restaurants on the main piazza they are poor, but just off the square there are some excellent ones that are very cheap.

Lantana Resort Hotel is Wonderful.
Just got back from a short stay at the Lantana 7th-10th April, the hotel is clean, tidy, lovely pool area, friendly staff, well cared for gardens. A car is really needed as its a bit of a walk to the village with restaurants, bars and supermarket, and even further to the beach. But it is a wonderful place and would recommended it for a short stay to anybody.
